Wrestling By The Numbers: Jody ‘Garrett Dylan’ Kristofferson

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced the release of developmental wrestler Jody ‘Garrett Dylan’ Kristofferson. The 28-year-old Maui Hawaii native was signed in February of 2012 and made his debut the following month in Florida Championship Wrestling as Garrett Dylan. Kristofferson became apart of NXT Wrestling in August of 2012 and had recently been competing in a tag-team along with fellow developmental wrestler Scott Dawson.

Jody Kristofferson is the real life son of well-known actor and country music singer Kris Kristofferson. He started his professional wrestling career back in 2008 after having been trained at the All Pro Wrestling Boot Camp. Kristofferson has competed throughout his 5-year career under the names Garrett Dylan, Jody Reese & Kristofferson Jody. Prior to being signed by the WWE he had worked extensively with independent promotions including All Pro Wrestling, Big Time Wrestling, the Sacramento Wrestling Federation and others.

    Wow, seriously? I was hoping I was going to see more of him with Scott Dawson and Sylvestor Lefort. They were a new and fresh tag team. It was certainly what the WWE needed in their tag team division. I wish the best for Jody Kristofferson.
