1977 – Hulk Hogan wrestles his first professional match against Brian Blair


In 1996, WCW Hog Wild was held at the motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. This was the first and only Hog Wild event, though the lineage would continue with 1997’s Road Wild. The promotional poster featured ‘Hulkamania’ Hulk Hogan despite the fact that he had joined the nWo one month prior

– Rey Misterio Jr defeats The Ultimate Dragon to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Title
– Madusa defeats Bull Nakano in a ‘Battle Of The Bikes’ Match
– Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) defeat The Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott) to retain the WCW World Tag Team Titles
– Ric Flair defeats Eddy Guerrero to retain the WCW United States Title
– The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) defeat Sting & Lex Luger
– Hollywood Hogan defeats The Giant to win the WCW World Title

In 2008, TNA Hard Justice was held in Trenton, New Jersey

– Petey Williams defeats Consequences Creed to retain the TNA X-Division Title
– Beer Money Inc (Robert Roode & James Storm) defeat The LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) to win the TNA Tag Team Titles
– Jay Lethal defeats Sonjay Dutt in a Black Tie Brawl and Chain Match
– Christian Cage & Rhino defeat Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) in a Street Fight
– AJ Styles defeats Kurt Angle in a Last Man Standing Match
– Samoa Joe defeats Booker T in a Six Sides of Steel Weapons Match to retain the TNA World Title

Title Changes

1985 – Dick Murdoch defeats The Nightmare/The Champion to win the MSW North American Title

1989 – Big Van Vader defeats Riki Choshu to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title. Also, Naoki Sano defeats Jushin Liger to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title

1992 – The Heavenly Bodies (Stan Lane & Tom Prichard) defeat The Fantastics (Bobby & Jackie Fulton) to win the SMW Tag Team Titles

1997 – Shinjiro Otani defeats El Samurai to win the J-Crown

1998 – on Nitro, Lex Luger defeats Bret Hart to win the WCW United States Title. Also, Chris Jericho defeats Stevie Ray to win the WCW Television Title

1998 – on Raw, Kane & Mankind defeat Steve Austin & The Undertaker, D’Lo Brown & The Rock and The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn & Road Dogg) to win the WWF Tag Team Titles

2002 – the WWE Hardcore Title is passed from Tommy Dreamer to Shawn Stasiak, to Steven Richards and back to Dreamer

2002 – Star defeats Jimmy Rave to win the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title

2003 – Christian defeats Booker T to win the WWE Intercontinental Title
