WWE CHANGES NAME FOR OCTOBER PAY-PER-VIEW

source: Colin Vassallo

Our good friend Luca Franchini who is the WWE commentator for Sky Italia
sent in word that WWE is changing the October pay-per-view name,
eliminating Over The Limit completely from the calendar. The new name
chosen is Battleground and the WWE London office gave the order to change
all promotional material for that particular pay-per-view. Battleground
was one of the names listed in a survey months ago when WWE was asking its
fans for their opinion on several topics.

Should of brought back Halloween Havoc

  2. Asterik says:

No Mercy should’ve came back as the October pay per view.

  3. John says:

The names don’t matter if the show sucks.

  4. Daniel says:

Good. I hated the “Over the Limit” name. Not sure I like “Battleground” though.

  5. I don’t know why wwe come up with all these gimmick ppvs show still does poorly and on top of that half of these ppvs have no good buildup that’s why their buyrates for ppvs are never good and then Vince McMahon will blame the creative team.

  6. Atlee Greene says:

I’m just throwing this out there but a ppv with a military name could mean the return of War Games.

  7. Anybody says:

    RETRIBUTION!
