This past Saturday night, during their panel discussion at the San Diego Comic Con, Action Lab Entertainment (www.actionlabcomics.com) announced that they would be publishing a new comic book series by writer Anthony Ruttgaizer (bka independent wrestler/promoter Kingdom James). The series entitled “The F1rst Hero” will debut later this year from Ruttgaizer, artist Phillip Sevy and cover artist Lee Moder (Shinku, Wonder Woman, Stars And S.T.R.I.P.E.).

The F1rst Hero will be a four issue mini-series, the first in a “series of mini-series” that follows the life of lead character Jake Roth who learns he has superpowers in a world where everyone with powers goes insane. When Jake somehow keeps his sanity, he must decide what to do about his newfound abilities.

An IndieGoGo campaign to help fund production costs on the creator-owned title will launch on Wednesday August 21st. For more information on the series, its creative team or the fundraising campaign, please visit www.kingdomjames.com/comics.php

Thank you.
