We see shots of the WWE Universe filing into the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as Money in the Bank Kickoff gets underway. The Kickoff panel tonight consists of Josh Mathews, The Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Vickie Guerrero. They toss it down to ringside, and we get ready for our first contest.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) (c) vs. The Usos
Rollins and Jey start the match. Jey gets a quick roll-up on Rollins, but Rollins kicks out at one. Jey comes back and converts a back-slide, but Rollins kicks out at one again. Rollins backs away and tags in Reigns. Reigns and Jey tie up, and Reigns delivers a series of headbutts to Jey in the corner. Reigns goes for a suplex, but Jey counters and delivers a boot to the midsection before tagging in Jimmy. Jimmy takes Reigns down to the mat and goes for the cover, but doesn’t even get one. Jimmy and Jey double-team Reigns and Jey, now the legal man, goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out. Reigns goes to the apron and Jey goes for the big kick, but Reigns drops to the floor and Rollins checks on him and we’re back to a stalemate as we head to a “commercial.”

Back from the “commercial,” and The Usos are still in control. Jimmy is the legal Uso again, and Reigns gets tagged in and slams his head into the mat. Reigns drops Jimmy on the apron and down to the floor with a huge clothesline. Reigns tags in Rollins, who tosses Jimmy back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Jimmy kicks out at two. Rollins chokes Jimmy with his boot and goes for the cover, but Jimmy kicks out at two again. Rollins tags in Reigns, and they double-team Jimmy. Reigns stomps away on Jimmy in the corner and then tags in Rollins. Rollins goes for the cover, but Jimmy kicks out at two. Rollins applies a headlock down on the mat and then throws him hard onto the mat. Rollins tags in Reigns, who beats Jimmy down in the corner. Reigns goes to splash Jimmy in the corner, but Jimmy rolls out of the way. Rollins pulls Jey off the apron as Reigns tosses Jimmy to the floor. Rollins takes Jimmy down on the floor and Reigns tosses him back into the ring. Reigns tosses Jimmy back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Jimmy kicks out at two as we head to another “commercial.”

Back from the “commercial,” The Usos are in control. Jimmy takes Rollins and Reigns down on the outside. Jimmy connects with a cross-body on Rollins back in the ring and goes for the cover, but Rollins kicks out at two. Jimmy smashes Rollins in the corner and then delivers a Samoan Drop. Jimmy goes for the cover, but Rollins kicks out at two. Jimmy goes up top, but Rollins knocks him down on the turnbuckle. We get a quadruple-suplex from the corner and all four men are down. Rollins goes for the cover on Jimmy, but Jimmy kicks out at two. Rollins goes for the tag on Reigns, but Jey pulls Reigns down to the floor. Jimmy kicks Rollins in the face and goes up top. Jimmy connects with the Superfly Splash and goes for the cover, but Reigns breaks it up. Jimmy takes Rollins to the middle rope, but Reigns decks Jimmy with a right hand and tags Rollins. Rollins throws Jimmy in the corner and Reigns connects with a Spear and gets the pin fall.
Winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Back to the Superstar panel, and they all praise the tag team match. They talk about the John Cena/Mark Henry feud, and Show and Vickie choose Henry to win while Kingston chooses Cena. We then see the return vignette for Rob Van Dam.

In other notes, the blue briefcase is clearly hanging above the ring, so it looks as though the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match will be the first of two to take place. Kingston picks Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match, while Show picks Rob Van Dam.

The participants for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match hit the ring as the Kickoff Show comes to a close.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a World Heavyweight Championship Contract: Antonio Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter) vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Fandango (w/Summer Rae) vs. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) vs. Wade Barrett

The brawl begins and Swagger tosses Fandango to the outside. Rhodes and Sandow hit Barrett with a ladder and Swagger and Cesaro do the same to Fandango. Swagger and Cesaro beat down Rhodes and Sandow in the ring. Cesaro slams Rhodes down onto a ladder and Swagger tosses Sandow into the ladder. Swagger and Cesaro try to smash Rhodes with the ladder, but Rhodes ducks and they run into each other. Swagger sets up a ladder and begins to climb, but Ambrose cuts him off. Ambrose tosses Swagger into a ladder in the corner. Ambrose climbs the ladder, but Barrett cuts him off. Barrett delivers a series of knees to Ambrose and tosses him out of the ring. Barrett hits a few of the guys with the ladder, but Fandango comes off the top rope and delivers the leg drop to Barrett. Fandango sets up the ladder, but Sandow cuts him off. Ambrose hits Rhodes with a ladder to send him to the floor. Sandow slams Fandango into the ladder and then suplexes him onto another one. Barrett takes a part of one of the ladder legs and nails Sandow with it while Sandow was climbing. Barrett begins to climb and grabs the briefcase, but Ambrose cuts him off. Cesaro delivers an uppercut to Barrett and Swagger gets DDT’d by Ambrose. Cesaro climbs the ladder as Ambrose climbs the other side. Cesaro chokes Ambrose out on top of the ladder, but Rhodes climbs up. Rhodes grabs Cesaro and slams him onto the ladder in the corner. Barrett comes back and goes to work on Rhodes. Everyone is down on the outside, except Barrett, who begins to climb in the ring. Swagger cuts him off, but Barrett drops him with the Bull Hammer Elbow. Barrett grabs the briefcase, but Fandango cuts him off this time. Fandango powerbombs Barrett from the top of the ladder. Fandango begins to climb the ladder, but Ambrose gets involved. Ambrose drops Fandango with the face-buster. Ambrose climbs the ladder, but Cesaro cuts him off. Ambrose hits Cesaro and Swagger with the ladder, but they grab the ladder from him. Ambrose flips on to of the ladder, but Swagger and Cesaro dump him out to the floor. Cesaro gets on Swagger’s shoulders and Swagger walks to the middle of the ring. Cesaro reaches for the briefcase, but Rhodes dropkicks Swagger from the corner and takes them both down. Rhodes drops Fandango with Cross Rhodes and then does the same to Barrett. Rhodes gets the big ladder from the stage and sets it up in the ring. Ambrose comes back and climbs the other side. Rhodes and Ambrose slug it out at the top of the ladder. Rhodes slams Ambrose into the ladder and tosses him down to the mat. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfere and pull Rhodes off the ladder. The Shield beats down everyone else in the match. The Usos rush the ring and beat down The Shield. Rhodes dumps the ladder over and Ambrose falls onto the Usos, The Shield, Swagger, and Cesaro. Rhodes climbs the ladder, but Sandow shoves him off. Sandow climbs the ladder and grabs the briefcase and gets the win.

After the match, trainers check on Rhodes as he and Sandow stare each other down. We then see highlights of the match.

We are introduced to the new Raw General Manager, Brad Maddox. He says he is glad to be the GM, but he can’t fill the shoes of the great Vickie Guerrero. He says he gave Vickie the spot on the pre-show cast, and he says everyone around the world would like to thank her for her contributions to Money Night Raw. He tries to start a “Thank You, Vickie” chant, but it doesn’t work all that well. The crowd chants “You Got Fired!” instead. Maddox says Vickie puts the “E” in WWE, and then shows a tribute video for her. He tells the crowd to give her a standing ovation as The Miz’s music hits.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Curtis Axel (w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Miz
They tie up and Miz drops Axel with a shoulder block. Heyman gives Axel some pointers and they tie up again. Axel takes Miz to the corner and delivers a chop. Miz tosses Axel to the floor and launches himself off of the apron with a clubbing shot. Miz feigns that Heyman punched him, and the referee tosses Heyman from ringside. The crowd chants “We Want Heyman!” as he leaves. Axel delivers a back elbow to Miz and then slams him to the mat. Axel goes for the cover, but Miz kicks out quickly. Axel stomps away on Miz in the corner, and then delivers a dropkick. Axel applies a headlock down on the mat, but Miz fights out. Miz drops Axel with a running knee and a big boot. Miz clotheslines Axel in the corner and then sledges him from the top rope. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Axel fights out. Axel goes for the Perfect Plex, but Miz counters and goes for the Figure Four. Axel shoves Miz into the ring post and then delivers the Perfect Plex. Axel goes for the cover, but Miz kicks out at two. Miz hyper-extends Axel’s knee and applies the Figure Four, but Axel reverses the hold. Miz reverses the hold right back, but Axel makes it to the ropes. Miz goes after Axel’s leg again, but Axel kicks him in the face. Axel plants the Miz to the mat and gets the pin fall.

We see the promotional vignette for SummerSlam, which is on August 18 in Los Angeles, California.

WWE Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee (w/Big E. Langston) vs. Kaitlyn (w/Layla)

Kaitlyn delivers a gut-buster to AJ and AJ rolls to the outside. Kaitlyn goes out after her, but AJ slams Kaitlyn right into the ring post. AJ goes to work on Kaitlyn’s injured shoulder. Back in the ring, AJ bridges into a submission and works over Kaitlyn’s arm. AJ slams Kaitlyn into the corner and wraps her arm around the ropes. AJ applies a submission down on the mat, but Kaitlyn fights back. Kaitlyn backs AJ into the corner and then delivers a back-breaker. Kaitlyn drops AJ with a back elbow and then a dropkick and then plants her with a neck-breaker. Kaitlyn goes for the cover, but AJ kicks out at two. AJ slaps Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn drops her with a clothesline. Kaitlyn goes for the cover, but AJ kicks out at two. AJ goes back to Kaitlyn’s bad arm, but Kaitlyn shoves her to the outside. Big E catches AJ and tosses her back into the ring. AJ rolls up Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn kicks out at two. Kaitlyn delivers the Spear, but hurts her arm, and AJ rolls to the outside. AJ comes back into the ring and locks in the Black Widow submission and Kaitlyn taps out.

We see a preview of the new Total Divas show on the E! Network.

We go back to the Superstar Panel, and Josh asks Vickie about what Brad Maddox said earlier. Vickie says Maddox will never live up to her. Kingston says Sandow stole Money in the Bank from his best friend. Big Show gives props to Axel for retaining without Heyman.

Chris Jericho vs. Ryback

They tie up and Ryback shoves Jericho down to the mat. Ryback beats Jericho down, but Jericho fights back and delivers a series of chops to Ryback. Ryback gets away and rolls to the outside. Ryback goes to get back into the ring, but Jericho dropkicks him to the floor. Jericho tosses Ryback back into the ring and then goes up top. Jericho clubs Ryback in the back of the head and then tosses him into the corner. Ryback explodes out of the corner and drops Jericho with a huge clothesline. Ryback stomps away on Jericho as the crowd begins a “Boring” chant. Ryback stomps on Jericho and then powerslams him from the second rope. Ryback goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Ryback tosses Jericho to the outside, and Jericho falls in between the two announce tables. Ryback goes out after him and kicks him in the midsection. Ryback tosses Jericho back into the ring and keeps the offense going for a bit. Jericho fights back and delivers a suplex and goes for the cover, but Ryback kicks out at two. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Ryback kicks him away. Ryback slams Jericho down to the mat and sets up for the Meat Hook clothesline, and he connects. Ryback goes for Shell Shocked, but Jericho fights out. Jericho kicks Ryback’s knee and goes for the Codebreaker, but Ryback slams him to the mat. Ryback tosses Jericho into the corner and charges, but Jericho takes out his injured knee. Jericho hits the Codebreaker while Ryback was in the ropes, and Ryback falls to the floor. Ryback gets back into the ring at nine and Jericho goes up top. Jericho connects with a cross-body, but Ryback kicks out at two. Ryback grabs Jericho and goes for Shell Shocked, but Jericho counters into a DDT. Jericho goes for the cover, but Ryback kicks out at two. Jericho goes for the Lionsault, but Ryback rolls him up for the pin fall.
Winner: Ryback.

We see a video package for the new WWE Performance Center that opened in Orlando, Florida this past week.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler goes for a quick roll-up, but Del Rio kicks out. Del Rio comes back and takes Ziggler down and applies a headlock. Ziggler fights out and sends Del Rio off the ropes, but Del Rio drops him with a shoulder block. Ziggler comes right back and drops Del Rio with a dropkick. Ziggler goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. Del Rio tries to escape, but Ziggler catches him and rolls him back into the ring. Del Rio kicks Ziggler in the back of the head and then tosses him out to the floor. Del Rio decks Ziggler and tosses him back into the ring. Del Rio goes for the cover, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Del Rio applies a headlock down on the mat, but Ziggler flips out and drops Del Rio with a dropkick. Ziggler launches himself at Del Rio in the corner, but Del Rio moves and Ziggler goes head-first into the turnbuckle. Del Rio stomps away on Ziggler and then chokes him on the bottom rope. Del Rio places Ziggler in the ropes and delivers a series of right hands to Ziggler’s back and then kicks him in the back of the head. Del Rio comes off the ropes and tries to drop down on Ziggler, but Ziggler moves and Del Rio crashes to the floor. Del Rio goes up top, but Ziggler connects with a bulldog from the top rope. Ziggler goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. They exchange right hands in the center of the ring, and then Del Rio goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Ziggler goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. Ziggle goes for the Fame-Asser, but Del Rio delivers a bridge suplex and goes for the cover, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Del Rio drives his shoulder into Ziggler’s midsection in the corner and goes for the kick, but Ziggler counters and hits the Fame-Asser. Ziggler goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. Del Rio comes back and delivers the back-breaker and goes for the cover, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Del Rio comes off the top rope, but Ziggler counters with a dropkick and goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. AJ’s music hits and she skips around the ring. Ziggler tells AJ to get out and drops Del Rio with a DDT. Ziggler goes for the cover, but Del Rio kicks out at two. Ziggler goes up top, but Del Rio knocks him down to the turnbuckle. Del Rio drops Ziggler face-first to the mat and goes for the cover, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Del Rio tosses Ziggler to the mat and kicks him in the head. Del Rio goes for the cover, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Del Rio goes to hits Ziggler with a knee, but Ziggler shoves him away and AJ hits Del Rio with the Divas Championship and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner via disqualification and still World Heavyweight Champion: Alberto Del Rio.
After the match, Ziggler and AJ argue in the ring.

WWE Championship Match: John Cena vs. Mark Henry

Henry powers Cena down to the mat and then takes him to the corner. Henry delivers a headbutt and then tosses him around the ring again. Henry smashes Cena in the corner and goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Henry tosses Cena out to the floor and follows him. Henry slams Cena onto the steel steps and then tosses him back into the ring. Henry goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Henry puts Cena on the middle rope and then jumps down on top of him. Henry goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena attempts a dropkick on Henry, but it doesn’t affect Henry and Henry drops Cena with a right hand. Henry picks Cena up and tosses him around the ring. Cena rolls to the outside and Henry goes out after him. Henry slams Cena into the barricade and then tosses him back into the ring. Henry tosses Cena into the corner and then charges, but Cena moves. Cena goes for the AA, but Henry falls on top of him. Henry goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena comes back and exchanges right hands with Henry. Cena drops Henry with two shoulder blocks and then delivers a side-suplex. Cena delivers the Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena picks Henry up for the AA again, but Henry falls on top of him again. Henry goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena comes back and lifts Henry and delivers the AA. Cena goes for the cover, but Henry kicks out at two. Cena goes for the cross-body, but Henry catches him. Henry delivers the World’s Strongest Slam and goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Henry goes to the outside and grabs two steel chairs. The referee grabs the chairs and Henry exposes one of the turnbuckles. Cena slams Henry’s head into the exposed steel and locks in the STF. Henry gets to the ropes to break the hold. Henry shoves Cena into the referee and delivers a low-blow and goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Henry goes for the World’s Strongest Slam, but Cena escapes and locks in the STF. Henry goes for the ropes, but Cena drags him to the middle of the ring and Henry taps out.

We visit the Superstar Panel again and they talk about Cena’s win over Henry. We then recap what happened to Kane at the hands of The Wyatt Family this past Monday night on Raw.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a WWE Championship Contract: Christian vs. CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Sheamus

The five other men gang rush RVD and beat him down and deposit him to the outside. The other four guys go after Sheamus and toss him to the outside. Christian and Orton are tossed to the outside and we get Punk and Bryan are left alone in the ring. Punk chops Bryan a couple of times and tosses him into the corner. Sheamus gets into the ring with a ladder and takes them about before Orton dropkicks the ladder into Sheamus. RVD kicks Orton and Punk goes after RVD. RVD sends Punk to the outside and kicks Orton in the head again. RVD dropkicks a ladder into Sheamus and grabs one for himself. Christian goes for the Killswitch on RVD, but RVD drops Christian onto the ladder. RVD drops Bryan onto the ladder and connects with Rolling Thunder. Orton tosses RVD to the apron, but RVD kicks him in the head. RVD goes for the Five-Star Frogsplash, but Christian shoves him to the outside. Christian grabs the mini-ladder and hits Orton with it. Christian sets a ladder up and begins to climb, but Sheamus catches him. Sheamus takes Christian off the ladder and climbs himself, but Christian stops him. Christian tries to climb again, but Sheamus cuts him off. Sheamus shoves the ladder into Christian’s face and Christian goes to the outside. Sheamus sets the ladder back up and begins to climb, but RVD dropkicks the ladder and Sheamus crashes to the mat. Sheamus delivers the rolling senton to RVD on the ladder and then goes to the outside and slams Bryan into the Spanish announce table and the barricade. Sheamus grabs a ladder and puts it on the apron and the announce table. Sheamus tries to throw Bryan on the ladder, but Bryan reverses and delivers a running knee to Sheamus on the floor. Punk and Orton are back into the ring and Orton tries to climb as Punk grabs his ankle. Christian gets back into the ring as Bryan sets up another ladder. Sheamus, Christian, Bryan, and Orton are climbing the ladder and then Punk and RVD join as well. Everyone reaches for the briefcase and both ladders crash and burn with all six guys. Sheamus gets up first and delivers a series to sledges. Sheamus slams Christian into the ladder and then delivers White Noise. Sheamus goes to climb the ladder, but then delivers a Brogue Kick to RVD. Bryan and Sheamus climb the ladder and Sheamus delivers the ten clubbing shots on top of the ladder. Sheamus grabs the briefcase, but Punk pulls him down to the mat. Punk delivers the running knee to Sheamus and then delivers the bulldog with the ladder on top of Sheamus. Punk grabs the ladder, but Orton stops him. Orton t-bone suplexes Punk onto the ladder. Orton delivers the middle-rope DDT to Punk, and Christian drops Orton with a Spear. Christian grabs the ladder and sets it up in the ring. Christian begins to climb, but RVD cuts him off with another ladder. RVD delivers a legdrop to Christian. Christian comes back and beats RVD down. RVD and Christian climb a ladder, but it falls over. Christian hits the mat and RVD lands on another ladder. RVD delivers the Five-Star Frogsplash to Christian and they are both down. RVD climbs the ladder, but Sheamus does as well. RVD shoves Sheamus off the ladder, but Sheamus shoves the ladder over and RVD hits the top rope throat-first. Bryan kicks Sheamus and RVD and then dropkicks a ladder onto Orton. Bryan delivers a double-dropkick to Sheamus and RVD. Bryan hits Orton and RVD with a ladder and Sheamus gets slammed through the ladder that he placed on the apron and the announce table. Bryan climbs the ladder, but Curtis Axel runs to the ring and nails Bryan with a steel chair. Punk delivers the GTS to Axel. Heyman runs down and yells at Axel as Punk rolls back into the ring. Punk climbs the ladder as Heyman cheers him on. Heyman gets into the ring and hits Punk with a ladder. RVD gets back into the ring and begins to climb the ladder. Orton drops RVD with an RKO. Orton is alone in the ring and begins to climb the ladder. Orton gets to the top and grabs the briefcase.
