– He applied and was accepted to All Japan Pro Wrestling’s dojo on June 20, 1987.
– On April 9, 1990, Kobashi and Tiger Mask II (Misawa) defeated Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat in Nagoya, Japan to win All Japan’s All Asia tag team titles.
– Kobashi and Johnny Ace defeated Defeated Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers on September 7, 1990 in Fukui, Japan to capture AJPW’s All Asia tag team titles.
– Kobashi and Ace defeated Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat on July 8, 1991 in Osaka, Japan to regain the All Asia tag team titles.
– On May 25, 1992, Kobashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi defeated Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat in Sendai, Japan for Kobashi’s fourth All Asia tag team title reign.
– On December 3, 1993, Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa won the vacate All Japan Unified World Tag Team titles by winning the Won the World’s Strongest Tag Determination League.
