DIVORCED; WWE SALARY REVEALED

From TMZ.com:

This came out of nowhere … mega-rich WWE star Randy Orton HAS GOTTEN DIVORCED — and TMZ has learned, he gets a ton of the marital loot … including cars, massive bank accounts … and of course, his gun collection.

The divorce order was signed just last month. Randy and and his now-ex Samantha were married in 2007, but separated in 2012. Samantha filed for divorce in March, claiming the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” They have one 4-year-old daughter.

But the split seems pretty amicable … both parties came to a separation agreement, which details the division of property post-split.

According to the document, Randy gets his 2012 Range Rover, his 2011 Bentley, and his 2009 Harley Davidson. Samantha gets her 2013 Infiniti.

Randy also gets a bunch of six-figure bank accounts, his gun collection, his jewelry, and one house … plus 100% of all righst, title, and interest in his WWE contract (which is worth a ton of money). According to the docs, Randy rakes in $291,666 per month in salary.

Meanwhile, Samantha gets a bank account worth $654,317 … not bad … as well as her jewelry (including her $99,000 engagement ring and wedding ring). She also gets one house.

As for their daughter, Samantha gets sole legal and physical custody, but Randy gets visitation. He has also agreed to pay Samantha $4,500 per month in child support.

Seems pretty fair to us.

As a divorced dad, that does seem pretty fair. Could go on and on, but it would only be a rant! SMH

  2. Daniel says:

    Holy crap! $300,000 a month!?

  3. Captain Ass says:

That’s a crazy amount of money but I must say it’s well earned. Like him or not, Randy is a main event star and they put their bodies through a lot more then let’s say a hockey or baseball player. So if you compare Randy’s salary to a professional sports team player, he really doesn’t make all that much in comparison, not to mention they travel 200+ days a year and with no off season.

I’d take Randy’s salary in a heart beat.

  4. DBRude says:

I don’t think I want Randy to be champ anymore. JK. Wow! Didn’t know he had it like THAT…

  5. Fisha695 says:

When I was a kid I don’t think my dad even had to pay $4,500 a year in Child support… l0l

  6. jim says:

Not Much of a story. Pretty fair

  7. Mimura says:

Wow, pretty fair ruling for a guy that makes 300k a freaking month!

  8. There are football (soccer) players that make more than that a week here in the UK.

  9. chris c. says:

MILLIONS OF DOLLARS! MILLIONS OF DOLLARS! MILLIONS OF DOLLARS! MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

  10. JR says:

Not to sound like a hater cause despite my personal preference, Orton can perform well enough for his (current) mid-card spot on the roster but that figure can’t be right. There is no way in hell Orton is worth $300,000 a month. Cena I can see it. I hate Cena but that would at least make sense. Is Orton in 2013 really that much of a draw? He is really being miss used if Vince is paying him that much. Punk better make double that or we riot, lol.

  11. Gary C Ghost says:

Kinda weird though right fellas. Wrestlers do more for their careers in a fake sport than other people do in real professional sports that ruin any game spirit and somehow make more.

  12. ~J* says:

3.5 mil a year for borton….imagine what super cena is raking in.

  13. Scott II says:

I’ll repeat what others said, that settlement seems QUITE fair. Too bad other stars in other fields, from athletics to acting, and everything else, get stuck with bad deals.

  14. KiLLewskitt says:

That’s the best “celeb” type (rich folks) divorce i’ve ever seen. Everything about it seems pretty fair and balanced. And thumbs up on the child support argreement. Good man, he is.

  15. StunningSteve says:

He is lucky his wife signed such a nice agreement. If the courts decided, he would be paying much more than that a month. It is usually based on income and some states are as high as 17 percent for one child. Back in 2000, my father in law was making very little but had to pay over half his income because he had 4 kids under 18 at the time. Plus, in many states the wife gets half of all property, including those 6 figure bank accounts. It is possible this was part of a pre-nup but it doesn’t sound like it from the wording.

  16. M.J. Wright says:

@ Chris C. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. RIGHT??? BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

  17. Shockmaster Suplex says:

Why are WWE salaries so secretive, the public has access to the salaries of most sports athletes and celebrities, what’ s the big deal?

  18. MIKEY. says:

Personally, I believe WWE has it right in not disclosing how much their stars make.. not really any of our business anyway..

  19. Adam says:

Don’t forget, that monthly sum I’m sure contains salary AND royalties, mercy dels, etc. …not that unreal.

  20. Fisha695 says:

Actually I’m pretty sure the WWE salaries and contract terms are public record via the SCE or SEC or whatever that stock market “police” group is filings.

Keep in mind that it’s also BEFORE taxes, if he’s early 3.6mil a year he’s in a a pretty high tax bracket so he’s only bringing in 2.5ish which I mean is still a ton of money but yeah.

  21. T says:

He had a very good lawyer it seems.
