Talent that will work for The Great Muta’s new promotion

Wrestling great The Great Muta is finished with All Japan Pro Wrestling, and will be taking many of the struggling company’s talent with him to a new promotion, likely to debut in August. The talent leaving for All Japan for the new promotion include: Masakatsu Funaki, Kaz Hayashi, Kai, Shuji Kondo, Ryota Hama, Masayuki Kono, Minoru Tanaka, Hiroshi Yamato, Yasufumi Nakanoueno, Osamu Nishimura, Seiya Sanada and Koji Kanemoto.

The promotion is expected to debut in August, and has yet to be named.

Those staying with All Japan will be Hikaru Sato, Sushi (Akira Raijin, who was Kiyoshi in TNA and briefly Suicide), Taiyo Kea, Takao Omori, Manabu Soya, Joe Doering, Kenso, Suwama and the Burning Members, who are Jun Akiyama, Go Shiozaki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Atsushi Aoki and Kotaro Suzuki.

    That’s twice AJPW going through a major exodus. I remember the Pro Wrestling NOAH exodus. It’s going to interesting on how Mutoh is going to run his promotion.

    I’m excited and I don’t even get to see Japanese wrestling. I’m along with @James, interested in seeing how Mutoh run’s his own promotion.
