Jerry Jarrett on the passing of Matt Borne

Jerry Jarrett via Facebook:

I was in Pittsburg when I heard the new about Matt passing. I can’t explain how I feel. Jackie Fargo was so intertwined in my career and life that the reality of his death keeps getting bumped from my mind. It also brings back the hurt of losing Tojo. Now Matt is gone. Matt was not only a great talent, but a great friend. You are not supposed to lose a loved one that is so much younger than you are. You just don’t anticipate it. I still sit and recall the good times with Tojo. I will one day sit and recall the good times with Jackie and Matt, but for now, crying feels better.
