In 1995, WWF King of the Ring was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

– Bret Hart defeats Jerry Lawler in a Kiss My Foot Match
– Mabel wins the King of the Ring Tournament, defeating Savio Vega in the final
– Diesel & Bam Bam Bigelow defeat Tatanka & Sycho Sid

In 2000, WWF King of the Ring was held in Boston, Massachusetts and featured the largest ever KoR tournament, with 32 wrestlers vying for the crown. Only the final 8 were featured on PPV

– Edge & Christian defeat Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay), T&A (Test & Albert) & The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff) in a Four Corners Elimination Match to win the WWF Tag Team Titles
– Pat Patterson fought Gerald Brisco to a no-contest in a Hardcore Evening Gown Match. Crash Holly pinned Patterson to win the WWF Hardcore Title under the 24/7 Rule
– D-Generation X (Road Dogg & X-Pac) & Tori defeat The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) in a Handicap Tables Dumpster Match
– Kurt Angle wins the King of the Ring Tournament, defeating Rikishi in the final
– The Rock, Kane & The Undertaker defeat Triple H, Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon. The Rock pins Vince to win the WWF Title

In 2006, WWE Vengeance was a Raw-exclusive event held in Charlotte, North Carolina

– Ric Flair defeats Mick Foley in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match
– Johnny Nitro defeats Shelton Benjamin & Carlito in a Triple Threat Match to win the WWE Intercontinental Title
– Rob Van Dam defeats Edge to retain the WWE Title
– Imposter Kane defeats Kane
– John Cena defeats Sabu in an Extreme Lumberjack Match
– D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) defeat The Spirit Squad (Johnny, Mikey, Mitch, Nicky & Kenny) in a Handicap Match

Title Changes

1968 – Bobo Brazil defeats Giant Baba to win the NWA International Heavyweight Title

1978 – Al Madril defeats Nelson Royal to win the NWA Junior Heavyweight Title

1992 – The Barbarian & Dick Slater defeat The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy Garvin & Michael Hayes) to win the WCW United States Tag Team Titles. This would be the final reign before the titles were retired

2000 – Koji Kanemoto & Minoru Tanaka defeat Shinjiro Otani & Tatsuhito Takaiwa to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles

2001 – on Raw, X-Pac defeats Jeff Hardy to win the WWF Light Heavyweight Title. Also, Rhyno defeats Test to win the WWF Hardcore Title, but quickly loses the belt to Mike Awesome

2009 – Homicide defeats Suicide to win the TNA X-Division Title. Also, Tara defeats Angelina Love to win the TNA Knockouts Title
