Nice, I always was a fan of RVD. Another Paul Heyman guy.

  2. jim says:

Can we agree that his act has gotten old

  3. Mackdeezy says:

I kind of figured. His posts on the matter were TOO cryptic. So cryptic it was kind of obvious. I guess no MEM for him xD. He must be after his retirement paycheck now.

  4. Mackdeezy says:

Still…. he DOES smoke weed. WELLNESS POLICY violations will he waiting for him.

No we can’t…because now he is in the WWE. However, if he was still in TNA, his act would be considered old (by those that think his act isn’t old in the WWE). This rule pretty much works for everyone.

  6. MoneyInTheBank187 says:

@Jim , Hell No. RVD has always been a main eventer and is at the top of his game.

  7. ~J* says:

welp here’s to hoping he gets paired with heyman.

  8. Matt says:

I admit RVD isn’t the spring chicken he once was, but his act certainly isn’t old. He can still go and is at least still decent in the ring.

Besides in WWE, RVD will mostly be midcard where he can do some awesome things with some people. His TNA main event run was possibly one of his least enjoyable periods, but again it’s not like i’ve ever wanted to turn away just because it’s RVD.

However though as someone said he knows there’s only three strikes to his contract right? He could wind up on his way out all on his own if he doesn’t take care.

  9. Jau says:

His boring style fits the PG WWE perfectly.

  10. Fisha695 says:

Here is the important thing to remember though, RVD is one of the few big-name stars from the 90s that’s still in the business (well the TV side of it anyway) that is actually willing & happy to put over the next generation of wrestlers.

  11. Ian says:

@Moneyinthebank…top of his game…RVD hasnt been at the top of his game forever.

  12. Ryan says:

It’s funny when people say “same old ….”about Cena, well RVD has been doing the same old **** for years. You can pretty much call his match spot for spot.

  13. Mr. Black says:

All I can think of is all the great matches that will come out of this. RVD will be working with Bryan, Ziggler, Punk, The Shield, Kassius Ohno, Cesaro, I can keep going.
