Former WWE developmental talent on Derek Foore offering to sell a copy of his WWE contract

Former WWE developmental talent Dustin Starr responds to Chad Baxter (Derek Foote) offering to sell a copy of his developmental contract:

I will say this – having signed a WWE contract myself, I read every single page before putting my signature on down. Once I read thru every page, I actually had second thoughts on even signing it because of how much control they have over the talent.

As i said in the previous post, isn’t that obvious? WWE’s superstars have to have permission for a lot of things. That’s part of the deal. If you don’t like it, then don’t sign. There are plenty of other companies with less strict deals.

You become a character, a product in WWE, like an actor in Hollywood, you have commitments to promote that character and the franchise because it can ultimately help your career earnings.

Dishing pointless details of your contract has surely got to be the dumbest move possible.

Also, like said if you signed it and you recognized something that went against your principles then you’re a giant moron.

And who can respect a person who signs their principles away on a contract to then wipe their ass with it.
