Hulk Hogan hints at another wrestling run

Hulk Hogan posted a message on his Twitter account today teasing that he
will be lacing up his wrestling boots one more time. “Perfect timing to
start serious training again,” Hogan wrote, adding that this would be his
“last time around the block” and the intense training will lead to
transformation. The former WWE and WCW champion has hinted in the past
that he would like another run and win the TNA title.

Some people just don’t know when to quit … Hulk Hogan is one of them.

Bully Ray, say goodbye to the TNA Title, brother!

Let’s see if we can get the ratings down to 0.5 again, like when Hogan stocked the company with his old cronies. DO IT HULK and get Impact Canceled and put TNA and it’s delusional fanbase out of their misery once and for all, brother!

Then maybe WWE can poach some of their decent talent like Roode and Aries. Or at least TNA and Dixie Carter will be out of the picture so some other money mark can come along and try to build a viable mainstream alternative. Who knows, maybe they will have the sense not to hire Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan and instead, actually hire someone with a vision that doesn’t involve rehashing 1990’s WCW.

Honestly I’m surprised he hasn’t used his influence to become TNA champion already…The only way it wouldn’t be a total mistake is if he puts over one of the young stars and drops the title to them…Highly unlikely though

Well lets think about this. If Hogan were to wrestle, I can’t possibly see it being more than just one match. If that were the case, it would clearly be against Bully Ray. If it were to happen, it would obviously be at a really big show, like Bound for Glory. But we already know that Bully Ray will be defending the TNA title against the winner of the Bound for Glory series that night. So the only way it seems possible is if Bully drops the title on TV before then, and goes into BFG without the title – and I simply don’t see that happening. So with all that – I’m pretty sure another Hogan match is NOT happening, despite the tease.

If Hogan wins the TNA Workd Title, he would ruin his already tarnished reputation and legacy. It would destroy the credibility of the championship and the company. If Hogan has an ounce of decency or respect for the wrestling industry, he won’t allow himself to be given a word title run. I have no problem with Hulk Hogan taking a hot tag in 6 man tag match and clearing the ring with a few signature spots, but PLEASE do not allow this egomaniac to have the belt 25 years past his prime.

  10. Craptacular says:

Why not… I mean he can have the title in Bound For Glory and lose it against someone the next thursday… 4 days reign is not too much damage

  11. chris zajac says:

Once again Hogan is stealing the spot light for him self again so he can hold the title again

I think he means another run at Tampa General Hospital , not rasslin’

If Dixie Carter allows this, she is even dumber and more out of touch than I thought. Too many questionable things have happened over the course of her stint as being the owner of TNA, and this is why TNA will always be below WWE and basically a big indy with TV, that the boys who politic can exploit to the detriment of TNA and ultimately the fans who are dumb enough to keep providing that company with their money. This is the lady who said that Stevie Richards was too broken down, when he asked her for a living wage and wanted to be in a sort of gatekeeper/trainer role that was pitched to him by Russo. There are very few guys active in wrestling today who would have been a better guy like that, and more importantly with the experience and the right kind of attitude than Stevie. Yet, she’s got all the money in the world for Hogan, who is near crippled, and continues to allow him to run around at age 60 and act like he is still the man. How can this woman who is supposed to be a businesswoman, be such a mark? I sometimes cannot help but wondering if she not just dumb, but chemically altered.
