Prince Nana received a WWE tryout yesterday before last night’s Raw taping in Hartford, CT. Nana was trained by Johnny Rodz and has been in and out of Ring of Honor since their first event.

Nana did some enhancement work for WWE in the early 2000s.

Not sure on his in ring talent, but as a manager he is very good…wish ther were more managers in todays wrestling.

  2. Mike says:

Interesting. Nana could easily spice up Kofi Kingston’s character if he gets hired.

  3. mnm says:

    Kofi Kingston wannabe …

  4. Asterik says:

Kofi 2.0? Or a heel manager for Kofi when the WWE finally decides to turn Kofi as a heel?

  5. Mudd says:

How can someone call him a kofi wannabe when hes done his gimmick for longer than Kofi?

  6. Doug says:

Agreed, a heel Kofi Kingston with Prince Nana as his manager would be great.

He’s not that great in the ring but he’s a very effective manager he’d be perfect for foreign talent such as Cesaro and Wade Barrett. The Embassy 2.0 in WWE I wouldn’t mind seeing that. or he could manage the PTP and or Kofi as well. I’m glad WWE has an interest in managers again.

  8. Shockmaster Suplex says:

Pair him up with Big E.

  9. DBRude says:

    Slick 2.0?

    WWE fanboys are ignorant!

WE IN THE MONEY! WE IN THE MONEY!

  12. Zach says:

@Asterik and mnm, seriously a Kofi knock off?

  13. X says:

    That’s Prince Nana ??????
Wow, he lost a lot of weight.

This is a fantastic idea. Cesaro & Barrett w/ Prince Nana feuding with Kofi and whoever, doesn’t really matter. R Truth? Evan Bourne? Miz? Have several tag matches, singles matches, all the while Nana is in Kofi’s ear telling him to basically “come home” and join him. Could work it in to Nana’s backstory that he grew up with Kofi or something. Kofi keeps resisting and finally turns on whoever his partner is and joins with Nana.

But sadly I think this makes way too much sense. They’ll sign Nana and make him job to Fandango or Santino or someone. Or make him a face manager for JTG or someone from NXT.

Prince Nana is an awesome manager. Bring back Armando Estrada as well and WWE are quids in! I’d definitely watch WWE every week to see those two =)
