Daily Discussion: Worst wrestling cities

daily discussion

Today’s topic: On Friday, we asked which were some of the best wrestling cities. Today, we want to know which are some of the worst cities in which to watch professional wrestling? Out of date arenas, lack of parking, lack of crowd reaction, etc?

Yesterday’s discussion – 2nd inductee in to the TNA Hall of Fame

Corpus Christi, Texas had a horrible crowd last few times they got RAW or SmackDown. That’s the one that comes to mind, but there’s a lot of terrible crowds, especially as of late

  2. Jau says:

    Corpus Christi

  3. Aaron says:

Definitely have to go with Corpus Christi….had an amazing show for Impact a couple months back and the crowd was sparse and pretty dead, very disappoint to watch on tv and definitely took away from the experience…Though Tampa wasn’t much better the other night either

  4. I don’t remember the city but it was back when they did the RAW guest host thing and Dennis Miller was the host and the crowd was quiet the entire night.

  5. jake says:

Columbus oh. Was there for what should have been the much more epic hhh hbk cell match and the crowd was silent. I was actually embarrassed as a fan. This is probably why columbus hasnt got a ppv since.

  6. Jay McQuade says:

Washington D.C. is usually the worst in my opinion, although they were pretty good the most recent time. They yelled ‘boring’ at Cena on the RAW before WrestleMania.

    Milwaukee is horrible.

Cities in California also don’t know how to react.

  7. danny says:

Ottumwa Iowa the local rednecks stole the TNA world title

  8. jimmypink says:

    Corpus Christi

  9. T says:

I am a native Californian (So. Cal) and the crowds are the same for most sporting events (Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers….etc). This is one of many reasons L.A won’t get a NFL team anytime soon.

  10. frank says:

    L.A. for sure

  11. WhatIDo says:

I’m from Milwaukee, and I gotta say. Our crowd sucks. Dumb and doesn’t react to anything. Then again they don’t really give us much to react to whenever they come to town.

  12. bill says:

As much as I hate to say it Phoenix Az is horrible. Whether it was WrestleMania Bound for Glory or The Royal Rumble. Quiet crowds and only pop like marks

  13. Adam says:

gotta say, california as a state is pretty much a failure of wrestling fans
