Zumhofe arrested for molestation, more charges possible

Former AWA Light Heavyweight Champion “Rock & Roll” Buck Zumhofe has been arrested and charged with 12 felony counts of gross sexual misconduct. Zumhofe was taken into custody on Tuesday after his daughter brought information to police that she had been sexually abused by the pro wrestler for a period of time beginning when she was 13 and continued until she was almost 18.
Of the 12 counts six are first degree felonies involving sexual misconduct with a person more than 13 but less than 16, involving a family member and using force or coercion while the other six counts are the same only they are considered third degree felonies.
The daughter of Zumhofe, now 29, notified prosecutors in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota of the conduct of her father. According to sources close to Zumhofe the abuse had been on-going and not reported earlier due to threats and the use of fear.
If the allegations are proven to be true prosecutors are hoping to put Zumhofe behind bars for the rest of his life. He is currently being held on $500,000 unconditional bond or $100,000 conditional bond with no contact orders in place.
Zumhofe had his career curtailed with similar allegations in 1986 that resulted in his being sentenced to and serving two years in prison. Zuhmofe had been promoting wrestling in the mid-west for the last few years.
There are also indications that these charges are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg and that additional charges could be filed.
