More on the firing of WWE’s head of creative

As we previously report, WWE fired Adam Rudman (replacing Erik Pankowski) – the head of WWE creative – just six weeks after he assumed the position. Stephanie McMahon fired Rudman prior to the Extreme Rules PPV. The word is that Rudman was a nice guy, but lacked the necessary knowledge of the WWE product, despite showing an interest in learning. His main responsibility was to organize different ideas and present them to Vince McMahon.

Prior to landing a job with WWE, Rudman wrote and produced a number of shows aimed at young kids, including writing for Sesame Street from 1998-2001 and was head writer and producer of “Bunnytown” in 2007. reports the The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
