In 1994, WCW Slamboree was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and featured inductions to the WCW Hall of Fame. The Class of 94 were The Assassin, Ole Anderson, Harley Race, Ernie Ladd, The Crusher & Dick The Bruiser

– Steve Austin defeats Johnny B Badd to retain the WCW United States Title
– Ric Flair defeats Barry Windham to retain the WCW World Title
– Kevin Sullivan & Cactus Jack (replacing the injured Dave Sullivan) defeat The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) in a Broadstreet Bully Match with Dave Schultz as special guest referee to win the WCW World Tag Team Titles
– Sting defeats Vader to win the vacant WCW International World Title

In 2005, WWE Judgment Day was a Smackdown-exclusive event held in Minneapolis, Minnesota

– MNM (Joey Mercury & Johnny Nitro) defeat Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles
– Paul London defeats Chavo Guerrero to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title
– Orlando Jordan defeats Heidenreich to retain the WWE United States Title
– Rey Mysterio defeats Eddie Guerrero by DQ
– John Cena defeats JBL in an I Quit Match to retain the WWE Title

In 2011, WWE Over The Limit was held in Seattle, Washington

– Ezekiel Jackson defeats Wade Barrett by DQ (Barrett retains the WWE Intercontinental Title)
– The Big Show & Kane defeat The New Nexus (CM Punk & Mason Ryan) to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles
– Brie Bella defeats Kelly Kelly to retain the WWE Divas Title
– Randy Orton defeats Christian to retain the World Heavyweight Title
– Jerry Lawler defeats Michael Cole in a Kiss My Foot Match

1965 – Mad Dog Vachon defeats Mighty Igor Vodic to win the AWA World Title

1972 – Sonny King & Chief Jay Strongbow defeat King Curtis Iaukea & Mikel Scicluna to win the WWWF Tag Team Titles

1985 – The Nightmare/The Champion defeats Terry Taylor to win the MSW North American Title

1989 – Lex Luger defeats Michael Hayes to win the NWA United States Title. This reign would be the longest in the history of the title at over 17 months

1992 – Brian Lee defeats Paul Orndorff in the final of a tournament to become the first SMW Heavyweight Champion

1995 – Jeff Jarrett defeats Razor Ramon to win the WWF Intercontinental Title

2000 – on Nitro, Vince Russo awards the vacant WCW World Title to Jeff Jarrett. Also, Daffney defeats Crowbar to win the WCW Cruserweight Title

2004 – Masanobu Fuchi & Genichiro Tenryu defeat The Great Kosuke & Shiryu to win the AJPW All Asia Tag Team Titles


Happy birthday to former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan (32), former WWF and WCW wrestler Scott Putski (47), Tough Enough 4 finalist Daniel Rodimer (35), former TNA wrestlers A1 (36) and Traci Brooks (38) and Mexican star Halloween known for his WCW run as Ciclope (42)
