Wrestling By The Numbers: Michael ‘Derrick Bateman’ Hutter



World Wrestling Entertainment has parted ways with WWE N.X.T. Season 4 competitor Michael ‘Derrick Bateman’ Hutter. The 30-year-old Willoughby Ohio native had spent the past 7-years with the WWE after first making his debut in July of 2006. After competing in a match on WWE Heat and making appearances in backstage vignettes, Hutter was signed by the WWE and assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2007. In February of 2009 he was moved to Florida Championship Wrestling where he became a 1-Time FCW Tag-Team Champion alongside Johnny Curtis.

Michael Hutter was coached by superstar Daniel Bryan on Season 4 of WWE N.X.T.. He made it to the final three of the competition before being eliminated. He returned to WWE N.X.T. on Season 5 called Redemption where he continued feuding with both Johnny Curtis and Maxine. Hutter had recently been competing on WWE N.X.T. Wrestling and was occasionally used on the company’s main television shows. The WWE announced his release on May 17th.

Michael Hutter is a 10-year professional wrestling veteran who first debuted back in 2004 after having been trained by Jerry ‘J-Rocc’ Mires. Over his career he has competed under the names Derrick Bateman, Agent B., Agent D. and under his real name Mike Hutter. Prior to signing with the WWE Hutter had competed mostly in his home state of Ohio for companies including New Era Pro Wrestling and Absolute Intense Wrestling.
