Impact spoilers for May 16th

Jay Bradley b Christian York – The winner of this match goes into this year’s Bound for Glory series

Velvet Sky b Gail Kim. After the match, Kim laid out Sky with a figure four around the post.

Hulk Hogan called out Abyss. Joseph Park came out instead. Aces and 8s came out and started yelling at Park. Hogan announced a D-Lo Brown vs. Park match for later in the show.

Kenny King retained the X title in a three-way over Chris Sabin and Petey Williams.

Hernandez b Christopher Daniels with a pounce.

Joseph Park b D-Lo Brown. Park started bleeding, saw his blood, started acting crazy and used the black hole slam for the pin.

They had a Bully Ray vs. Sting contract signing for Slammiversary. Sting asked for a No Holds Barred match. I hope that doesn’t mean the loser has to watch that movie. Ray accepted under the stipulation that if Sting doesn’t win, he can never challenge for the TNA title again.

You’re wrong about the Bradley-York match stipulation. It’s a semifinal match in a 4-man Gut Check tournament with the tournament winner getting a spot in the BFG Series.

  2. Nick A says:

I’m just glad that we’re not putting York in the BFG series. Bradley would be a great choice for it.

  3. gerry says:

What happened to rock star spud

  4. -J- says:

lol one week later joseph park make his triumphant return…brilliant.

  5. Matt says:

Well Bradley has it in the bag now. One of the most deserving talent today getting a chance to shine.

But really they should have had Bradley and York take out Silva and Shaw in the early rounds. No one in their mind thinks Silva or Shaw would win or really be ready for it. It was pretty obvious it would be between Bradley and York. And besides Bradley/York is going to be an infinantly better match that should be the final.

  6. eddie says:

Matt maybe the other two contest are Joey Ryan and wes briscoe. And shaw ansd Silva aren’t in it

  7. James says:

I’m thinking Joseph Park/Abyss is going the Keiji Mutoh/Great Muta territory.

  8. MoneyInTheBank187 says:

I would not be surprised if TNA did a match with
Joseph Park -vs- a fake Abyss.
