Daily Discussion: Should Triple H be inducted into the GERWECK.NET hall of fame?

Today’s topic: Should Triple H be inducted into the GERWECK.NET hall of fame? Triple H received 65% of the vote in June 2008, but fell short of the required 70%. If Hunter fails to garner 70% of the vote this month, he must sit out another year before he can be considered again. Is it time to play the game?

  1. Travis says:

Yes. Triple H is one retirement match away from putting an end to his in-ring career. After all he has achieved; he deserves a spot.

  2. Scott II says:

While Trips still wrestles from time to time, he’s a part-timer now, so I definitely have no qualms about voting yes. He might not be the best from the Attitude Era, but he was the guy who you paid your money to see his ass get kicked in by Stone Cold or The Rock, and let’s face it, who was leading DX when it took the next step from a group that was over, to a group that has been able to put itself amongst the likes of the nWo, Four Horsemen, and such?!? Triple H.

  3. T says:

    My vote is no.

  4. Jempires One says:

Not his biggest fan but not putting him in reeks of attitude and jealousy. He deserves a spot. No discussion needed.

  5. MC Live says:

Yes. The IWC gives him a lot of flack, including Bret Hart, that I never understood. I always thought Triple H was damn good. Maybe he hung on to the Main Event spot a little to long, but he’s been a big player for a long time, he’s worked his butt off, and I think his legendary career warrants a HOF spot here on Gerweck!

  6. Saxon says:

There better be a good reason than just saying ‘no’ this time. He was pretty much the king when it came to main events back in the day, title or not.

  7. Zachery Badman says:

    YES

  8. gerry says:

Definatly hes a part timer now, his carrer is slowing down, and its not to long before he will be in the wwe hall of fame my vote is yes

  9. Ram_Z says:

Definetley a yes, given all he has accomplished and how he has shed the ” jarrett complex” he has accepted his place as a backstage presence and moved over to the business aspect of wwe. So Yes! Induct away!

  10. Pokemans says:

Just for the evolution days i would say yes. He had some great times before that aswell in the original D-X. Aswell as the epic comeback after his injury in 2002.

After 2004 he and WWE in general lost a lot of steam. ECW brought a bit back in 05 and 06 but then it just sank into The PG WWE. Then CM Punk cut the amazing promo after The Rock came back and WWE was interesting for a while again. But now The Rock is gone, CM Punk is on break and WWE is so desperate they got Taker to work on Smackdown again.

  11. -J- says:

of course the guy was/is a fixture in wwe one of the top players like it or not.

  12. Montez says:

Yes. I think he should have been inducted the first time. It might be mean to say but they are at least 10 people who are in gerweck hall of fame that should have gotten in after triple h.
