– Al Snow defeats Hardcore Holly to win the WWF Hardcore Title
– The Godfather defeats Goldust to retain the WWF Intercontinental Title
– Mankind defeats Paul Wight in a Boiler Room Brawl
– Steve Austin defeats The Rock in a No Holds Barred Match with Shane McMahon as special guest referee to retain the WWF Title

In 2010, WWE Extreme Rules was held in Baltimore, Maryland

– Jack Swagger defeats Randy Orton in an Extreme Rules Match to retain the World Heavyweight Title
– Sheamus defeats Triple H in a Street Fight
– Beth Phoenix defeats Michelle McCool in an Extreme Makeover Match to win the WWE Womens Title
– Edge defeats Chris Jericho in a Cage Match
– John Cena defeats Batista in a Last Man Standing Match to retain the WWE Title

Title Changes

1936 – Ali Baba defeats Dick Shikat to win the World Heavyweight Title

1971 – Dusty Rhodes defeats Sputnik Monroe to win the TSW Brass Knucks Title

1989 – Jerry Lawler defeats Master of Pain to win the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Title

1992 – Jimmy Snuka defeats Salvatore Bellomo in the final of a tournament to become the first NWA-ECW Champion

2000 – on Smackdown, Dean Malenko defeats Scotty 2 Hotty to win the WWF Light Heavyweight Title. Also, Crash Holly defeats Matt Hardy to win the WWF Hardcore Title

2000 – on Thunder, David Arquette & Diamond Dallas Page defeat Eric Bischoff & Jeff Jarrett (Arquette pins Bischoff to win the WCW World Title)

    David Arquette winning the world title was the nail in the coffin for WCW. That was the last I watched of them until the Shane and Vince take over on RAW that fateful Monday.

    I’ve always wondered about that TSW Brass Knuckles championship. Did the guys each get a set and just went to beating on the other? Or was it some kind of, “Brass Knuckles on a Pole,” type of thing where you had to retrieve them and you then got to use them on your opponent?

    I can’t vouch specifically for the TSW Title but other Brass Knuckles titles saw each wrestler beginning the match with a set. Whilst some promotions actively used brass knuckles, most saw the wrestlers compete with heavily taped wrists, giving the impression that they were wearing them
