Report: Cena wrestled at Mania sick with a broken thumb

HollywoodLife.com is reporting that John Cena wrestled on Sunday at
WrestleMania sick and with a broken thumb despite going a long way in his
match against The Rock. Cena had a bad case of food poisoning which he
suffered earlier in the week but nothing was going to stop him from being
part of the main event of WrestleMania again. “With The Rock’s limited
schedule, I didn’t think it was a shoe-in to ever have the chance again,”
Cena told the website regarding their once in a lifetime turned twice
feud. The Rock suffered an injury during his match with Cena, tearing his
abdominal and abductor muscles off the bone.

“I didn’t think it was a shoe-in to ever have the chance again” one can only hope so.

Well… kurt angle would have went out there with a BROKEN FREAKIN NECK!!!!!!!!!!

They have a similar good guy formula for their matches.

Get beaten up, impervious to signature moves, big fight back, few close falls and the big finisher. They cancelleed each other out and with no “first time” excitement this time around, the match flopped but massive respect for working injured

Cena’s commitment is never in doubt

  4. Jake Allen says:

I guess wrestling a match is an ultimate cure for all sicknesses cuz he was out and about doing press meetings and talk shows the following morning AND he was able to do two segments and a main event match the next night.

This is just more Vince self masturbatory b.s. about his golden boy

Broken thumb & likely diarrhea from the food poisoning & he still went out there and won… GOAT put him in the HOF now!
