Strong numbers for Wrestlemania 29

WWE’s public relations tweeted:

@WrestleMania 29 grossed $12.3 million, as 80,676 fans from all 50 states and 34 countries converged on @MLStadium. http://ow.ly/i/1QiVN

80,676 = @WrestleMania 29 is the second most-attended Mania of ALL TIME, behind only the 93,000+ at WrestleMania III.

The show also set a new MetLife Stadium live gate record, breaking the previous record of $8.9 million for a U2 concert in 2011.
