Learn the wrestling business: TNA Impact star Robbie E to lead training seminar
The guys main-eventing WrestleMania had to start at the bottom like everybody else. And learning pro wrestling is about as much in the way of hard learning as you’ll ever come across.
“It’s not as easy as it looks from watching it on TV,” said Marvin Ward, the general manager of Top Rope Pro Wrestling, and a former pro wrestler himself.
Top Rope has contracted with TNA Impact superstar Robbie E to lead a training seminar at Night of the Superstars on Saturday, April 13 at Waynesboro High School.
Long before the lights go down for the 8 p.m. belltime, Robbie E will work with a group that will include some with in-ring experience, some who have some training and others who just want to see what it takes to become a pro wrestler.
The 2 p.m. seminar will include tips from Robbie E on nutrition and conditioning, self-promotion, microphone work and the all-important in-ring skills.
“We’re working with Robbie because we think fans will really take to what he has to say, since they can see him on TV on Impact each week and see that he’s telling them something that worked to get him where he is today,” Ward said.
The registration fee for the training seminar is $50 per person online now or at the door. The seminar is limited to 50 participants.
