TMZ: Ric Flair to 911 – My Son Is Out Cold ‘He’s Purple’

TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed by Ric Flair … moments after the wrestling legend discovered his son Reid Flair unresponsive in a Charlotte, NC hotel room.

Ric frantically tells the operator, “He’s out cold! He’s out cold and he’s purple!”

As we reported, Ric’s 25-year-old son Reid — who had just returned to the U.S. after wrestling in Japan — passed away on March 29th.

The investigation into Reid’s death is ongoing, but he has struggled with substance abuse issues in the past.

Sometimes the media disgust me. As such in this case. The emergency call and its contents do not need to be public knowledge.

  2. Mike says:

Completely agree with Prince Dann. They are nothing but bloodsucking trash reporters. And this is an actual news source for many young people in North America. No wonder our society is going down the crapper.

i agree with previous comments, it shouldn’t be made public and sadly i’m disgusted to see Gerweck posting a story about this on here

Tmz are going to hell in a hand basket. All of them.

  5. James says:

The media as a whole is the reason the society is going down the crapper. Glorifying drugs, alcohol and sex. Not to mention the fact that they put some much emphasis on the killer of mass murders instead of the victims.
