I think the best match was steamboat vs savage

  2. StunningSteve says:

I would have to go with Wrestlemania 17 or XX. With that said, I also think VIII was amazing and nobody ever talks about it. The Savage-Flair match and the Hart-Piper match made up for what Sid and Hogan lacked.

WM4- without knowing the results before hand.

    Wrestlemania X8

    Wrestlemania 17

Taker Vs HHH in their prime, Rock Vs Austin in their prime, the Hardys, Dudleys & E&C tag ladder match. Angle Vs Benoit even the gimmick match was a bit of fun. Great mania.

X-Seven (as it was stylized) will probably be the popular answer. It was a damn good mania. XIX was really good, I say number two. My personal favorite though is XX. The main event, though WWE can’t talk about it anymore, was awesome, one of the greatest matches of all time, regardless of what’s happened since. Also, Eddie and Kurt had a great finish. Just my personal fab

Id have to say, from a marks point of view, and without the IWC jumping down my throat.. WM6.. The Hogan v Warrior match was awesome. I can remember being 14 yo and watching it in a video store – we didnt have a VHS back then, and had to hire it for them to play it on the screen for me… actually.. now looking at the card.. Mania 6 really was only the main event…
Other than that .. Wrestle Mania XXX next year.. as Hopefully ill be there !

    XVII and XX

  9. Vandertodge says:

Piper v Bret for the IC title was a beast of a match.
Flair v Savage was a very intense match which was meant to be for the WWF title but I wasn’t, Savage winning the title was a bonus. It was about defeating Elizabeth honour.

And it was the greatest Mania moment of all!

  10. Simba says:

Wrestlemania X-Seven for me, classic ‘mania.

  11. El Poyo says:

    The build up was great
    Hart vs Hart
Ramon vs HBK in a ladder match
each match had a story w/ it when a feud was important.

  12. Jay McQuade says:

WrestleMania X-Seven was the ideal major wrestling show. Best ever. No close second.

  13. cas says:

I say XII just because of the iron man match

  14. cas says:

can’t forget II, three different venues. I bet they could pull that off again

  15. Nick A says:

X-7 was an amazing show top to bottom. After that, probably X.

  16. Brett says:

Calvin- I will be there next year as I live in New Orleans…it’ll be my 4th WM in a row and it better be the best!

other than that,I ranked the WM last year on my youtube channel…I obviously had 17 as the best, with 19 and 21 coming 2nd and 3rd respectively….14 was great and so was 8….my darkhorse favorite would have to be WM 5….very underrated WM in my opinion…every match was solid and entertaining to say the least.

  17. Prince Dann says:

16,17,18 were all amazing, but 19 was probably my favourite.

  18. Chicago Made Punk says:

    17 hands down!

  19. Guled says:

17 & 21, mainly because both had memorable moments as regards as great atmosphere & intensity.

  20. Neumanrko9 says:

The event that single handedly got me hooked onto professional wrestling and in my opinion the greatest Wrestlemania of all time has to be Wrestlemania 17. Such a stacked card from top to bottom and coming hot off the purchase of WCW when wrestling was at its all time peak. You had a little bit of everything: Kane vs. Big Show vs. Raven for the Hardcore Title, a great technical display between Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, an awesome street fight between Shane and Vince McMahon, TLC II between arguably 3 of the best tag teams we have ever seen of The Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian, the first WM meeting between Undertaker and Triple H, and to cap it all off The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin which has got to be the most intense and greatest rivalry of all time ending the night with a shocking heel turn by Austin & McMahon. Doesn’t get much better than that folks.

  21. Mr. Black says:

    17. Wow can’t believe how many agree with this.

    Wrestlemania 3 and X7
