Jeff Jarrett finished with TNA?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jeff Jarrett lost all his political power in TNA when president Dixie Carter felt he lied to her when he denied a relationship with Karen Angle, now Karen Jarrett. You may recall, TNA wrote Karen and Jeff out of the storyline in 2011. Many were surprised when Jarrett wasn’t invited back for the recent reunion type PPV specials taped in Orlando. Apparently Eric Bischoff and Bruce Pritchard decided against bringing him in for a nostalgia appearance. Jarrett, 46, had been concentrating his efforts on establishing Ring Ka King, and currently works with AAA in Mexico. Jarrett has been trying to come up with other projects.

Yet last night TNA advertised (for the first time that I’ve ever seen) that they are now selling “Jeff Jarret Signature Guitars” on their website.

  2. James says:

So definitely NOT the driving force behind Aces & Eights then…

  3. craig says:

Go back to wwe Jeffo. Just think of the nineties.

  4. Nick Walters says:

WWE would probably never bring him back for 3 reasons…
1- “I’ve seen him break a thousand guitars and the guy never drew a dime” Vince Quote
2- The opening bit to the Raw where Vince buys WCW. He could have brought Jeff back then, but instead laughed and fired him
3- Most importantly, he isn’t on good terms with WWE and hasn’t been since around 1998

  5. MiZery says:

A Jarrett and Road Digg reunion could be entertaining…lol

  6. MiZery says:

    *Dogg… auto correct

  7. Shockmaster Suplex says:

Would be nice to see him back in the WWE

  8. Y_Set says:

Well now Jeff Jarrett could induct either his father or Owen Hart for WWE HOF Class of 2014.

  9. John says:

Jeff has some marketability. Karen has none. Vince should put Jeff in the Alumni section. If the WWE has made amends with Chyna than it’s just good business to let go of the past for the betterment of the fans. As far as in ring work for WWE,It will not happen.

The guitars are being sold at 80% off. Clearly they’re just trying to get rid of them.

  11. Meh says:

WWE should bring him back for 3 reasons…

    1. So Mr. McMahon can add him to his kiss my arse club.
    2. So Jarrett can finally become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE by winning a World Championship there.
    3. To annoy all those Jeff Jarrett haters.

  12. abc says:

Jeff Jarrett just had a role in Springbreakers as well.

Dixie has screwed just about every TNA original even the founder. Jeff & Russo did more for the company than Hulk & Eric ever will.

  13. -J- says:

    Dixie is hilarious.

  14. raven12516 says:

@Craig: He can’t. They blacklisted him for threatening to take the IC belt to WCW.

  15. david says:

Jarrett is a legend and there wouldn’t be TNA without him. Think about all the great moments TNA has given and how it wouldnt have happened without him. He wasn’t booked right in WCW and he shouldnt have hogged the spotlight in TNA but he has put over talent like Styles and even Rhino.

  16. Alex says:

This guy (along with many others) made TNA… sad.

  17. cool arrow says:

I always found Jarrett to be terribly bland and overrated. His first WWF run was mediocre except for the match against Michaels, his first WCW run was totally unmemorable, his second WWF run was awful, and the less said about his second WCW run, the better. (Though that was mainly Russo’s fault.) His babyface run in TNA was ridiculous, with his desperately trying to be Steve Austin, and it wasn’t until his fake MMA gimmick that he was at all entertaining.

  18. Fisha695 says:

@art123guy, ah ok yeah that makes sense then.
