On Saturday, April 20th you can be apart of –and partake in this historic moment as this film takes an in-depth look at the people, characters, and action that made ECW –Extreme. Doors open at 5pm as you can tour the Arena one last time before construction commences. Meet and mingle the special select guests that appear in the film –from wrestlers, staff, and media personnel. At 7pm, the World premiere of the documentary “Barbed Wire City… The Unauthorized Story of ECW” will screen inside the building that shaped a company that changed the face of professional wrestling forever. For one night only you will go back in time, in the building that was made extreme by all involved, and relive and revisit the most hardcore wrestling promotion that ever existed in Extreme Championship Wrestling.

    I never really understood the need for this documentary on Kickstarter. WWE released an amazing one in The Rise and Fall of ECW, and if you didn’t want a WWE one, there was also the excellent Forever Hardcore.
