Report: Asking price to run a TNA show

TNA’s asking price right now is $25,000 to run a live event. The price does not include paying rent, marketing the show, etc. As a result, to break even, a promoter would have to sell over 1,000 tickets. TNA house shows are rarely hitting that mark these days.

It’d be alot cheaper to run your own show than pay $25k for that BS. With some decent research you can put together a show for $10,000 with a bigger profit margin. If breaking even these days is what’s considered good, then its no wonder alot of these indys closed up shop.

    TNA isn’t their own promoter?

In addendum to above post, you can easily have the show “pay for itself” so to say. If you are ambitious, I am quite sure there are local businesses that would pay to have their signs or listed as sponsor of the show so your cost is deferred right there. Another method is the ticket seller method. You get 10+ green or newer guys to work for free, and sell 10 tickets to their friends and family to be on the show as a way of paying their dues. That way you have an audience and you can toss these guys into some BS Rumble or Battle Royal match as a filler match on the card.

MC Live its too much of an expense for them so they would rather give the risk to some mark willing to pay the $25,000 while renting out the use of their logos and equipment
