– The Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defeat The Heavenly Bodies (Tom Prichard & Stan Lane) by DQ (The Heavenly Bodies retain the SMW Tag Team Titles)
– Dustin Rhodes defeats Maxx Payne by DQ to retain the WCW United States Title
– Barry Windham defeats The Great Muta to win the NWA World Title
– Big Van Vader defeats Sting in a White Castle Of Fear Strap Match

In 1999, WCW SuperBrawl IX was held in Oakland, California

– Billy Kidman defeats Chavo Guerrero Jr to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Title
– Barry Windham & Curt Hennig defeat Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko to win the vacant WCW World Tag Team Titles
– The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) defeat Konnan & Rey Misterio Jr in a Hair vs Mask Match, forcing Misterio to unmask
– Scott Steiner defeats Diamond Dallas Page to retain the WCW Television Title
– Scott Hall defeats Roddy Piper to win the WCW United States Title
– Hollywood Hogan defeats Ric Flair to retain the WCW World Title

In 2010, the first WWE Elimination Chamber was held in St Louis, Missouri. This PPV replaced No Way Out after it’s 11-year run, though interestingly, the No Way Out name was retained in Germany

– John Cena defeats Sheamus, Triple H, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase & Kofi Kingston in an Elimination Chamber Match to win the WWE Title
– Batista defeats John Cena to win the WWE Title (Vince McMahon forced Cena to defend immediately after the Chamber match)
– Drew McIntyre defeats Kane to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
– The Miz defeats MVP to retain the WWE United States Title
– Chris Jericho defeats The Undertaker, John Morrison, R-Truth, CM Punk & Rey Mysterio in an Elimination Chamber Match to win the World Heavyweight Title

Title Changes

1928 – Ed ‘Strangler’ Lewis defeats Joe Stecher to win the World Heavyweight Title

1965 – Karl Kox defeats Bull Curry to win the Texas Brass Knuckles Title

1966 – Tony Parisi & Johnny Valentine defeat Dan & Dr Bill Miller to win the WWWF United States Tag Team Titles

1967 – The Von Erichs (Waldo & Fritz) defeat The Internationals (Al Costello & Kurt Von Brauner) to win the WCCW American Tag Team Titles

2011 – John Cena & The Miz defeat The Corre (Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel) to win the WWE Tag Team Titles. However, The Corre use their rematch clause immediately, and defeat Cena & Miz to win the titles back
