Kurt Angle’s reaction to the Olympics dropping wrestling

Kurt Angle, a 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, tweeted:

“I’m Shocked. Will Do an Exclusive Interview Later today. Wrestling Will Stay in Olympics.”

    Yeah, I think the Olympics are dumbing down as well. Wrestling gave us Kurt Angle (1992, 1996), Hiroshi Hase (1984), Frank Andersson (1984), Verne Gagne (1948), Manabu Nakanishi (1992), Riki Choshu (1972), Ed Don George (1928), Karl Gotch (1948), Danny Hodge (1956), Tamon Honda (1984, 1988, 1992), Brad Rheingans (1976, 1980), Bob Roop (1968), Masa Saito (1964), Chris Taylor (1972), Jumbo Tsuruta (1972), Mad Dog Vachon (1948), The Great Wojo (1980, 1984, 1988), and Yoshiaki Yatsu (1976, 1980). Those men have successfully transitioned from the Olympics to professional wrestling, using the Olympics as a springboard. I think Wrestling should not be removed from the Olympics.
