2/11 Monday Night Raw Coverage

Raw opens tonight with a video package of The Shield’s destruction in recent weeks, and the altercation with John Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus last week. We see that The Shield is planning on addressing the entire WWE Universe tonight. The Rock makes his return to Raw tonight, as well.

We go live into the arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and Paul Heyman is in the ring with a mic in hand. Heyman says tonight is the last night we will ever see him. Heyman says that may make some people happy, but he will never play the victim. He says he has always made sacrifices for his passions, even if they betray him. He said he did everything in his power to bring us ECW for seven-and-a-half years. He says he turned a rookie into The Next Big Thing, Brock Lesnar. He says he then met a man who he thought the WWE Universe would support and a man he knew in his heart and soul would pass Bruno Sammartino’s reign and would headline WrestleManias and carry the WWE into the future, CM Punk. Heyman says he can see into the future. He says something really bad is going to happen. He says it is going to come down on him and every single person around him, including CM Punk. Heyman says he cannot let anything bad happen to Punk, and that is why he is resigning. Heyman says he won’t miss the WWE Universe. Heyman says Punk needs to focus on becoming the WWE Champion again, and he will not stand in his way. Heyman says goodbye and the crowd cheers. CM Punk’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

CM Punk asks Heyman what he is doing. Heyman tells Punk he is in his way. Punk tells Heyman he won’t allow him to do this. Heyman tells Punk to wait and see what Vince McMahon has in store for them next. Heyman tells Punk to think of him as his friend and tells Punk to let him go. Punk says no. Punk says everything goes back to normal at Elimination Chamber. Punk says he will beat The Rock, and Heyman will be in his corner. Heyman smirks and says Punk is right. Heyman says he will be there and will witness greatness. Punk and Heyman embrace in the ring to end the segment.

She says no, but Heyman says she is the boss since Vince is not around. She turns the phone on speaker and Heyman apologizes for what happened to Vince. Vince tells Heyman to tell him what he had in mind for a stipulation. Heyman says The Rock will do anything to keep the title, so he asks Vince to agree that if The Rock loses by disqualification or count-out that the title will go back to CM Punk. I wonder what Kofi did to get jobbed out like this week after week?

  2. david says:

You know you’re Mexican if you’re against this change with Swagger and bringing in Mantel. Love it. It’s all true too but nobody wants to say it. Now only will this get Swagger heat but this could get Del Rio over more

  3. Scott says:

David, I just don’t really seeing the pairing working at all. I hope I’m wrong, and it helps advance Swagger, but, at least right now, it just doesn’t work for me, and I’m nowhere near being Mexican.

  4. jon says:

    k. first. lol @ people who sit on this site while raw is going on but dont watch raw and base their opinions on what this site writes. Second. Dutch Mantel with Swagger is great, he speaks the truth. Some are afraid to admit it. Doesnt matter what they call mantel, because fact is nobody knows who dutch mantel is. They could call him pete peters, its irrelevant because nobody knows who he is. The audience didnt have a clue and my guess is 95 percent of the audience watching at home didnt have a clue either. Bryan vs Jericho was solid, Henry squashing khali was nice, even better that he killed hornswoggle. The shield promo was solid, even my dad was like that ambrose guy is totally the joker from batman, lol dudes money on the mic, i think all 3 will be stars, Im predicting a shield victory, im thinking cena turns heel, i have the feeling he’s the guy behind the shield, regardless of if wwe says its heyman and punk, its not. Its cena, he will turn heel this sunday, if he doesnt and they bury the shield, well… who knows. Maybe ryback turns instead, i dunno but if one of cena or ryback dont turn heel and they bury the shield, wwe is stupid. Those who called this episode garbage, im not sure what you expect exactly, it was a quick 3 hours. I dunno what some of you want tho, i mean, they put on a good show, people complain, push people some of you want pushed, you complain. Its kind of ridiculous.

  5. Calvin says:

If Rock gets DQ’d he loses the title ? oh Brock…. come out and decimate ( finger poke and he goes down quicker than the titanic did ) CM for a little bit..,.. NEWWWWWWWWWW Champion.. C M Punk

  6. Guled says:

cripes almighty… the shield segment, dare i say; was excelling.

  7. Science & Violence says:

@Stunning Steve…he’s Black. That’s the only excuse the WWE needs.
