Wrestling By The Numbers: Steve ‘Gavin Reid’ Evans‏

World Wrestling Entertainment has parted ways with developmental wrestler Steve ‘Gavin Reid’ Evans. The Gowerton Wales United Kingdom native had only spent the past 3-months working for the company in their developmental territory before being released. Evans is a big powerful wrestler standing 6’6” and weighing around 250 lbs. He only made 1-television appearance for the WWE and that was a match on WWE N.X.T. which was taped in November after he was originally signed and aired in December.

Steve Evans has only had 29-professional wrestling matches and only had 28-prior to being signed by World Wrestling Entertainment. He first debuted back in his home country of the U.K. in 2010 after having been trained by WWE Hall Of Famer Johnny Rodz. He had wrestled as apart of the Union Of European Wrestling Alliances in promotions including Welsh Wrestling, All-Star Wrestling and Grand Slam Wrestling. Evans competed under the name Stevie Starr and was a former 1-Time Welsh Heavyweight Champion.
