Ticket prices for the first Impact on the road show

Tickets for IMPACT at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates,
Illinois, on March 14 will run for quite a steep price. TNA will be using
approximately half the arena for these two tapings – one live and one
recorded – with tickets priced $15, $25, $45, and $75. For $125, you can
get a luxury fan suite which includes appearances by TNA Superstars before
and during the show, full food and beverage catering in the room, private
restrooms and closed-circuit TV. Tickets go on sale this coming Friday at
SearsCentre.com.

They should run these shows with a VIP in the first 3 rows that include a fan fest and then down from there with $10-$15 general admissions.

These high ticket prices will never fly. When you are drawing 400 a night to the majority of your live events you need to understand supply and demand.

Either way, all these tapings will be heavily papered.

I think TNA will be fine. We’re not talking about just house shows, this is Impact. People will still come out for these shows.

  3. -J- says:

hope it works out this could be great for them or it could fail quite hard with the extra cost.

i think the prices are fine. i saw two house shows in mi over the past 3 years and the ticket prices were 20-50. with 50 being a vip package.

attn: collin — they are not STEEP. not at all. come on, its impact

I never understood the “Luxury Box” thing at any sporting event besides maybe a Motorsports one (can’t always see the entire track nor hear the announcer to the TVs come in handy). If I’m paying money to go to a sports event I want to be close to the action (save for Motorsports where sometimes sitting higher in the grandstand is better to see more of the track), not in some glass box up near the nosebleed section.

I don’t really consider these prices steep. In fact, they’re WWE Raw circa 2003 prices. I think TNA will be fine, and the reality is that cheap doesn’t always equal more people. Sometimes cheap simply equates to a bad product, which will put people off. There will be enough people who will pay a little more money for a quality product.

$125 for all that’s included in the VIP package? Sign me up!

I think they should make the balcony seats like $5 or $7. Not because $15 is too high. So, they can really fill up the arena….If tickets are $5 in the balcony a husband & wife on a low income can bring their 2 or 3 kids for a night of fun cheaper than the movies.

  8. tommy says:

tna already charging live events $13 low price for upper bowl only then ring side all seats are 76$ at the box office no other special offers , the lower bowl tix are $65 about 4-5 rows up $45 and this is for feb 8 at centurylink center in bossier city,la on their lockdown tour now word on the first 2 rows getting backstage passes as the arean never knew about this even last year when they cancelled when mic foley was with tna

Try the suites at the Georgia Dome when the Falcons play. You will come to appreciate it.
