Wrestling By The Numbers: David ‘Kid Kash’ Cash‏



David ‘Kid Kash’ Cash has announced via twitter that he has parted ways with TNA Wrestling. The 43-year-old Waynesboro Virginia native had spent the past 3-years working for TNA which originally brought him back August of 2010 to be apart of the ECW reunion pay-per-view show Hardcore Justice. He signed back with the company full-time in July of 2011 and had been wrestling as apart of TNA’s X Division. Prior to his release he had been sent to TNA’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling where he had been competing since November. This was David Cash’s second stint with TNA as he had originally worked from the company for 3-years from 2002-2005. He leaves TNA Wrestling as a former 2-Time TNA Tag-Team Champion with Dallas and a former 1-Time TNA X Division Champion.

David Cash is a 23-year professional wrestling veteran who first debuted in 1990 after having been trained by Ricky Morton and Tim Horner. Cash has competed under many names during his career including Kid Kash, Davey Cash, Cash, The Crow and David Tyler Morton Jericho. He signed his first major contract in 1996 with Extreme Championship Wrestling and spent 5-years with the organization eventually becoming a former 1-Time ECW Television Champion. After ECW went out of business, Cash signed with World Championship Wrestling and had a short stint with the company before it was sold and closed as well. After his first go-around with TNA, Cash spent a year with World Wrestling Entertainment and became a 1-Time WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He has also worked for numerous independent promotions and has performed in both the X Wrestling Federation and the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Kid Kash still will be appearing in two TNA pay-per-views the X-Travaganza and Joker’s Wild events that have been taped will air in April and May.
