Michael McGillicutty was The Rock’s training partner to get into ring shape before his Royal Rumble WWE title match. The Rock is now behind him, and Triple H has always been a big proponent of him.

Curt Hawkins is also The Rocks training partner. Don’t know if he worked with him for the RR, but he did for his last couple of matches.
Gotta say, not a fan. I get that he is the son of Mr. Perfect. That’s cool and all, but he’s always been so dull. Not to mention The Rock didn’t even put on a good show at the Rumble.
The guy should get over on his own merit. Not because he is the son of Mr.Perfect, not because Trips has a boner for him, and not because The Rock hung out with him for a couple weeks.
Well I guess that’s always a good way to eventually get a push…
Good. He and Hawkins both could use a break. I can’t believe WWE can’t find a spot for Mr. Perfect’s son, especially since he can work.
hold this guy back with that dumb ass name and no gimmick.
Actually Hawkins taught The Rock how to wrestle. They lived together for awhile, often sleeping in the same bed. During this time they would pleasure themselves while watching Kevin Steen matches.
McGillicutty hasn’t shown a damn thing ever, gets zero reaction and has one of the all-time stupidest names in wrestling history. It would take a miracle to get this guy over.
The Rock and even John Cena praised him by his real name, Joe Hennig, on Twitter.
Does someone not watch NXT? I think so.
there are no over night stars in the WWE. Joe Henning will be a star one day.
Hawkins is injured
@david r. – seeing as WWE superstars used his real name, why not have him use his real name and really get over as the 2nd gen superstar he is? Cody Rhodes isn’t doing too badly at the moment.
Joe and mchater you guys are both a idiots McGullicuty is a good worker and technical wrestler as far as not good on the mid and be dull that can come with time. As far as name and gimmick don’t blame him blame the writing team.
I like Joe. If you saw his feud with Tyson Kidd on NXT you would have seen some personality from him. And that Saito suplex of his is absolutely perfect!
@Scott: Do you mean Cody Runnels?
