  1. Drew says:

Are you serious bro? New Yorkers LOVE the Long Island Iced Z!

  2. The Sheild says:

Better be setting up for a heel turn if not Ryder should def consider TNA, he would thrive there.

  3. McMahon says:

“Not needed” so him showing up wouldn’t overshadow Del Rio’s face turn. But seriously, what better way to turn a guy then to use the most lovable underdog on the roster?

  4. jim says:

Well del Rio has destroyed Ryder about 15 times this yr. I don’t think del Rio can cut it as a face. I don’t think Ryder is super talented or anything but I also feel like wwe goes out of their way to just plain not use him.

  5. McMahon says:

Exactly, Del Rio recruiting the local guy underdog who he used to beat up for fun seems more like a face than bringing out Brooklyn Brawler to beat up on the jobber stable. The reaction would have been so much better, and it’s obvious. It really does feel like WWE goes out of their way not to use him.

  6. Meh says:

    Thank god for that!

Ryder has no one to blame but himself. Instead of trying to get on TV with his lame youtube show he should have been spending that time training in the ring and working on his promos because he definitely wasn’t good enough to be on TV. He just forced WWE’s hand and made it even more obvious he had no business being on Raw with his bad matches and horrible acting.

They gave him what he wanted and he proved he didn’t belong. I still remember his street fight against Kane where he is suppose to be selling the storyline but instead he is just smiling/laughing to himself because he cant act as Kane beats him up around the arena.

Ryder spends every week crying like a baby on Twitter when he doesn’t make it on television that week. Hell, he even a cried last month when he was on RAW because they skipped his entrance. Keep in mind the same episode they skipped Ziggler’s entrance and he didn’t cry to his followers. And you all wonder why WWE doesn’t want him on television every week as if his lack of talent and experience wasn’t enough to make that choice easy.

  7. B-Rad says:

I think the fact that Ryder is so over with the fans should say something to WWE. He could be really good for them if they’d just use him correctly.

He’s more over then half the guys they push in the main event. He might not be the greatest in the ring, but WWE has tons of guys who aren’t great in the ring. Sheamus, The Miz, Big Show, Barrett, Del Rio, Clay, Henry, Cena, Tensai, Ryback, Hell, even Orton. Ryder is not far behind any of those guys. He’s better than a lot of them. He could be a star for WWE. They just need to use him.

  8. McMahon says:

That entire post reeked of “I don’t like him so no one should.” Well, a lot of people do, and being in a match in front of your local fans means a lot to the wrestlers and the fans.

Look back to the Attitude Era. Look at all the Zack Ryder types. The midcarders who can connect with fans but don’t have to be taken too seriously. Zyder can easily be a Scotty 2 Hotty, a Godfather, a Val Venis.

  9. Nathan says:

@Meh, I agree with you 1000% Zack Ryder is awful he has absolutely no talent what so ever so the fact that he isn’t on TV and PPV’s doesn’t bother me. The fact that I can go to and see a story of him whining on twitter because he wasn’t booked really makes me happy.

  10. dave says:

but he bitches too much on social media. Social Media has turned into a disease upon society. Like Meh said, if he spent more time honing his craft and not complaining on twitter, maybe he’d be used, the fans would pop and creative would be more inclined to push him.

    just a thought.

And for the record, I like Ryder, he has potential but like JR says, “potential doesn’t pay the bills”.

  11. T says:

Cena can’t wrestle either yet he gets TV time. I doubt if Ryder ‘honed” his skills it would matter.

  12. DBRude says:

I dig Ryder. Not sure why he isn’t used more, or better; he SEEMS to be popular. Anyway, I’d rather see him than some of their other acts (3MB, THE MIZ, Ryback, CENA, etc.). I hear some people saying he complains a lot on twitter. I wonder if that’s what the problem is.

  13. deathedge says:

Hmmm… Not needed. That’ why a “We Want Ryder” chant started when the 3MB vs Miz, ADR, and a mystery partner match got booked and why the Brooklyn Brawler got a pathetic reaction.

    Yup, not needed.

  14. dave says:

Cena doesn’t spend time whining on twitter, Cena didn’t need youtube to get over. I’m not doubting Ryder’s potential, and citing Cena doesn’t cut it, he’s been in the company 10 years and was one of those once in a generation stars who got super over and made the company millions upon millions. Night and day.

Look at the current Mid-Card talent, all work hard and most have improved continuously. Ryder is over and as long as the fans keep calling for him, he’ll have a chance to shine again.

Also, it’d made a lot more sense if he was needed.

  15. Eismann says:

    boo hoo hoo!

  16. Jon says:

I like Ryder but, he really isnt as over as people seem to think, sure he is over in new york, thats where he’s from and sure he gets a decent pop when he comes out but when he’s in the ring, its dead. Like the guy has potential but.. honestly i think Curt Hawkins has more. No doubt he’s over in certain markets but.. reality is outside of those 1 or 2 markets (one being his homestate), when he’s in the ring, the crowd is dead.

  17. Jon says:

Ryder should turn heel and get his buddy, the BIG O involved as his bodyguard. I think that could kick start his career, i like him, i do but his character is kind of stale and how far can a guy based on a jersey shore tv show go? Its like Robbie E in TNA.As for Ryder going to TNA, well, he probably wouldnt be able to use his name or any of his catchphrases, his show that got him “over” is owned by WWE. i suppose, if you take away the gimmick he has, what’s he got? not much really, below average wrestling ability and below average promo skills…WOO WOO WOO? c’mon. thats the lamest catchphrase ever. TURN HIM HEEL.

  18. are you Serious bro? says:

are you serious Bro? No love for the woo woo kid….SMH

  19. Jon says:

No reaction for Ryder tonight in PHILLY.
