WWE Saturday Morning Slam Results 12/15/12

Commentary: Josh Matthews & R-Truth

 

-Prime Time Players vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel

Darren Young and Tyson Kidd start things off and they exchange waist lock takeovers and Kidd arm drags Young which cause him to slip out of the ring. Gabriel tags in and he and Kidd hit Young with a double hip toss. Titus O’Neil tags on and catches Gabriel trying to give him a drop toe hold and hits an inverted fall away slam. O’Neil tries to front suplex Young on to Gabriel but Gabriel moves out of the way. O’Neil and Young are on the floor and Gabriel hits O’Neil with a suicide dive and Kidd hits Young with a running hurricanrana off the apron.

 

Kidd attempts a springboard off the apron but O’Neil sweeps hit leg and Kidd hits the canvas hard. Young hits Kidd with a sidewalk slam and wraps him up in a body scissors. Young lets go of the hold and tags in O’Neil who rams Kidd into the turnbuckle and follows up with a scoop slam. O’Neil whips Kidd into the corner buckle but misses a splash in the corner and Kidd makes the tag to Gabriel. Gabriel hits a leg sweep, splash in the corner and a sit down belly to back suplex. O’Neil tries to break it up gets sent outside the ring for his troubles and Young is planted with  springboard moonsault from Gabriel and a springboard elbow drop from Kidd for the 1-2-3.

 

Winners: Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel

JBL Talks about what “Tribute to the Troops” means to him and how his family fought in World War II. It means a lot to him that he got the chance to tell the troops how much he appreciates their efforts. He goes on to say it is a privilege to perform for them and feels WWE is the most charitable organization in the world.

 

Saturday Morning Spotlight – Ryback: Highlight package of Ryback destroying people with “Feed me more” chants in the back ground.

 

-Handicap Match: Ryback vs. Robbie Matthews and Yanni Grecco

Josh Matthews mentions before we get started that Matthews and Grecco will compete against Ryback at the same time. Grecco is trembling with fear in the corner while Matthews attempts a shoulder tackle but goes down in the process. Matthews hits a clothesline but is has no effect and on Ryback while almost knocking over Matthews. Ryback hits a high back body drop on Matthews and Grecco tries to hit from behind. Grecco attempts a cross body but Ryback caught him and hit an Uranage. Ryback picks up Grecco and gets a few curling reps in before planting him into the canvas. Ryback places an unconscious Matthews on top of an unconscious Grecco hits a splash from the 2nd rope.

 

Ryback measures both of them for a meat hook clothesline and the crowd chants “Feed me more.” They escape under the bottom rope but Matthews throws Grecco back in the ring and Ryback levels him with the meat hook clothesline. Matthews tries to leave the ring side area but Ryback takes him out with a meat hook clothesline. The camera cut away at the moment of impact while Josh Matthews and R-Truth have a look of shock on their face due to the impact of the clothesline. Back in the ring, Ryback lifts them both up at the same time, marches around the ring, and delivers a serious shell shock for the win.

 

Winner: Ryback

    they edited the swinging urange and both clotheslines, the 2nd one they showed the announcers, but you could hear the guy splat on the floor, it was pretty funny.
