NWA National Heavyweight title surrendered‏

From Chris J. Ronquillo:

The NWA™ National Heavyweight Championship belt has been surrendered by reigning NWA™ World Heavyweight Champion Tokyo Monster Kahagas.

Kahagas won the NWA™ World Heavyweight title on November 2, 2012 in Clayton, New Jersey at NWA™ DAWG. Kahagas, a surprise last minute entry in an elimination match to determine a new champion, pinned Damien Wayne after executing a “Tokyo Monster Driver”.

Kahagas became NWA™ National Heavyweight Champion on March 29, 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida when he defeated Chance Prophet at NWA™ Ring Warriors’ “Battle of the Belts”.

It was determined that due to his responsibility to defend the NWA™ World Heavyweight title, it would be in the best interest of the organization for Kahagas to surrender the National Heavyweight Title to the NWA™.

The NWA™ Board of Directors will meet to decide the future of the NWA™ National Heavyweight Championship.

Here is an idea… NWA stops with their stupidity and hires a good president who can bring NWA back to prominence

  2. Starman says:

The new NWA Board of Directors has determined that there will be a tournament at each show to decide the National Heavyweight Champion.
After they put the belt on the surprise last minute addition to the match, without determining the new champs availability to defend the title, we can do it all over again.

This is WAY better than having the belt defended by 2 greats (Pearce and Cabana) at an unsanctioned event!

*eyeroll* this whole thing is so dumb

  4. Raym407 says:

A complete joke of a legendary belt. There is a wide open market if they would get the heads out of there asses.

  5. JD Storm says:

i used to think WWE & TNA had the market on stupidity. the NWA is forcing me to completely change my opinion.
