Turning Point opens up with Taz in the ring. He says he loves working for a company that is trying to help people recover from the disaster left behind by Hurricane Sandy. Taz says everyone in the building and everyone at home watching can help out. He brings out Buckethead and Bully Ray. Buckethead grabs the mic and thanks Dixie Carter, TNA, the fans, and the American Red Cross. He says they are going for a Guiness World Record by having the most people texting simultaneously, and donating ten dollars to the American Red Cross. Bully Ray leads a “TNA” chant to end the segment.

We go into a video hype package, featuring Austin Aries and the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Hardy.

TNA is going with the three-man team of Taz, Todd, and Tenay tonight and they hype some of the matches on the card.

Match #1: TNA Television Championship No Disqualification Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Magnus
Joe gets control early on with some elbows and headbutts Magnus to the outside. Joe goes out after him and tosses him into the guardrail. Magnus comes back on the outside and gets Joe in a headlock, before Joe reverses and sends Magnus into the steps. They get back into the ring and Joe connects with some right hands in the corner. Magnus comes right back and pounds away on Joe in the corner and keeps control of the match. Joe kicks Magnus down in the corner. Joe stomps away on Magnus in the corner and connects with a running boot and Magnus rolls to the outside. Magnus grabs a chair as Joe dives, but Magnus connects with a chair shot. Magnus gets back into the ring and stomps away on Joe. Magnus locks Joe in a key lock in the middle of the ring, and then takes him to the corner. Magnus comes off the ropes, but Joe hits him with a reverse atomic drop and a big boot. Joe powerslams Magnus, but holds on to his legs and locks in an STF. Magnus makes it to the bottom rope. Magnus connects with an elbow and locks in an arm bar. Magnus locks in a cross arm breaker, but Joe rolls over for a pin attempt and gets a two count. Joe takes Magnus down and then puts him on the ropes. Joe gets on the ropes, but Magnus rakes his eyes and delivers an elbow drop for a two count. Magnus sends Joe off the ropes, but Joe comes back with a kick and a chop. Joe comes off the ropes, but Magnus counters with a power slam. Magnus slams Joe down and goes for the cover, but Joe kicks out at two. Magnus connects with some right hands and charges Joe in the corner, but Joe catches him and slams him to the mat. Magnus goes to the outside again and grabs the chair, but Joe dives over the top rope and takes Magnus down. Joe tosses Magnus back into the ring and sets up for the Muscle Buster. Joe connects and goes for the cover, but Magnus kicks out at two. Joe slaps Magnus in the face in the corner and locks in the Coquina Clutch and Magnus passes out. Winner and still TNA Television Champion: Samoa Joe.

We go backstage where Jeremy Borash interviews ODB. ODB says she can’t find her hubby and she is embarrassed. Eric Young walks up and says he’s been busy and a shark ate his phone. He apologizes and asks for forgiveness. ODB says it’s about time he got off his boat and they make out. Eric says they are the power couple in TNA.

Mixed Tag Team Match: Eric Young and ODB vs. Jesse and Tara
ODB and Tara start the match. Tara tags in Jesse and ODB rolls him up, but only gets a one count. Jesse gets trapped in ODB and Young’s corner and ODB tags in Young. Young takes Jesse down with a back drop and a hip toss and then gets a two count. Young tags in ODB, who connects with a Bronco Buster on Jesse. Tara gets in the ring and knocks ODB down. ODB tags Young, who chases Tara away and Jesse attacks Young from behind. Jesse takes Young down with a back drop for a two count. Tara tags in and gets a two count again on Young. Tara tags Jesse back in and he clubs Young across the chest. Jesse takes Young down with a powerslam for another two count. ODB gets in the ring, but she is stopped and Tara and Jesse double-team Young. Tara goes for a cover on Young, but he kicks out at two. Tara tags Jesse back in, who puts Young in a headlock and then tags in Tara. They connect with a double Russian legsweep and Tara pins Young for a two count. Jesse gets Young in a sleeper, but Young comes back and takes Jesse down. Jesse gets up and he and Young take each other down with a clothesline. The match breaks down and ODB lowblows Jesse and bring Young closer to their corner and he tags her in. ODB takes Jesse down and goes after Tara. ODB takes Tara down with a shoulder block. Jesse clubs ODB on the back and goes after her. Young makes a blind tag and ODB slams Jesse down and Young hits the elbow drop for the win. Winners: Eric Young and ODB.

We take a look back at the attack from Aces & Eights’ DOC on Sting from this past Thursday night. Tenay informs us that Sting is with a surgeon in Texas and we will have an update on Sting on this week’s Impact.

We stay backstage and James Storm is getting interviewed by Borash. Storm says for the past year, he has prepared for this moment. He proved to everyone that he is ready at Bound for Glory. He says he is winning tonight and whoever he pins, he’s sorry about their damn luck.

Match #3: TNA X Division Championship Match: Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Joey Ryan
RVD goes after Ryan, but Ryan rolls his way into the corner. Ryan gets RVD in a headlock, but RVD reverses and rolls Ryan up for a two count. RVD connects with a spin kick and connects with a few rights hands and another spin kick in the corner. RVD hits a leg drop on Ryan and ties him up in the corner. Ryan escapes and takes control of the match. Ryan sends RVD to the outside and dives through the ropes onto RVD and sends him into the barrier. They get back into the ring and Ryan connects with a kick and drops RVD with a Tornado DDT. Ryan catches RVD on the top rope and connects with the Mustache Ride for a two count. Ryan torques RVD’s neck in the middle of the ring, but RVD fights out and drops Ryan with a kick. RVD connects with a kick to the head and hits Rolling Thunder. RVD connects with a standing moonsault for a two count. Ryan rolls RVD up and tries to use the ropes, but RVD escapes. RVD comes back with a kick to the face and goes up top. RVD connects with the Five-Star Frogsplash for the pin fall. Winner and still TNA X Division Champion: Rob Van Dam.
After the match, Matt Morgan lays RVD out with the Carbon Footprint on the ramp.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviews Joseph Park. Park wishes Sting well and says Aces & Eights denied him of is rights when they held him captive. Park says he asked Hulk Hogan for this match, and thanks none other than Bully Ray for making it happen. Park says tonight is about being a man and that he is probably going to get beat up, but he is entering a man and leaving a man. We then transition into a video package of the entire time that Aces & Eights was holding Park hostage.

Match #4: DOC vs. Joseph Park
Park goes after DOC for a couple of minutes, before finally connecting with a right hand. DOC chases after Park as he goes to the outside, and DOC grabs a chair and swings at Park, but he moves and DOC hits the ring post. DOC chases Park around the ring and DOC goes into the guardrail. Park shoves DOC back into the ring, but DOC takes control. DOC grabs hits weapon and swings it at Park, but Park takes him down and grabs the hammer. Park hesitates and DOC takes him down. DOC chokes Park while he is down on the mat. DOC drops an elbow on Park and goes for the cover, but Park kicks out at two. DOC chokes Park over the middle rope and hits a big splash for a two count. DOC kicks Park as Taz says “I don’t think Abyss has it in him to keep up with DOC.” Oops. DOC keeps control of the match, but Park comes back and tags DOC down after a few right hands. DOC grabs the steel belt and smacks Park in the head with it and Park has been busted open. Park sees his blood and becomes enraged. Park charges and takes DOC down with a clothesline and then hits a Black Hole Slam. Park splashes on DOC and gets a two count. Park goes to the outside and hits DOC with the steel chair as DOC reaches for him. Park gets back into the ring and goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. DOC comes back and delivers a big chokeslam for the pin fall. Winner: DOC.
After the match, DOC continues the assault on Park. DOC grabs his hammer and is about to hit Park with it before Bully Ray makes the save. Ray helps Park to his feet and holds his hand up for the crowd.

We go backstage where Jeremy Borash interviews Bobby Roode. Roode says he gets back into the game tonight. He says nothing is holding him down and he is getting in the ring with two guys who he has a lot in common with. Roode says he is going to prove to the world why he is the It Factor of Professional Wrestling. He is going to prove to A.J. Styles and James Storm that he is the better man. Roode says he will pin Storm and keep him from getting a title shot for almost an entire year and will get back in line to recapture the World Heavyweight Championship. We then transition into a video package highlighting the feud between the teams of Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez and Christopher Daniels and Kazarian.

Match #5: TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez (c) vs. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian
Guerrero and Daniels start the match. Daniels back Guerrero into the corner, but Guerrero comes back with a series of arm drags and an uppercut. Guerrero comes out of the corner and takes Daniels down with a press. Guerrero gets Daniels in the corner and connects with some right hands, but Daniels escapes and tags in Kazarian. Daniels and Kazarian double-team Guerrero for a bit. They keep the double-team up before Hernandez gets into the ring and delivers a double clothesline. Guerrero tags in Hernandez, and he slams Guerrero on top of Kazarian. Hernandez goes for the cover, but Kazarian kicks out at two. Hernandez stalks Kazarian in the corner, and drops him with a brain buster. Hernandez tags Guerrero in, but Kazarian takes control of the match before he tags in Daniels. Kazarian and Daniels double-team Guerrero in their corner and Daniels takes him down with a shot from the top rope. Daniels shoots Guerrero into the corner and then drapes Guerrero over the top rope. Daniels kicks Guerrero in the midsection and tags in Kazarian. Kazarian takes Guerrero down and applies a submission in the middle of the ring. Kazarian puts Guerrero on his shoulders, but Guerrero fights out before the pain in his ribs forces him to stop. Kazarian gets control, but Guerrero hits a tornado DDT out of nowhere. Guerrero makes it to the corner and tags in Hernandez. Hernandez gets Daniels in a bear hug and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Hernandez goes for a cover, but Daniels kicks out at two. Hernandez sets up for the Border Toss, but Kazarian saves Daniels. Daniels and Kazarian try to double-team Hernandez, but he comes over the top rope and hits a double shoulder block. Hernandez hits a back breaker on Daniels, and shoulder blocks Kazarian out of the ring. Kazarian and Daniels come back and hit the High-Low on Hernandez and get a two count. Guerrero makes his way up top and connects with a double missile dropkick and then a head scissors. Guerrero hits the Three Amigos on Daniels and goes up top, but Kazarian connects with a kick to the head. Hernandez throws Kazarian back down to the floor. Guerrero and Hernandez hit their double-team finisher on Daniels for the pin fall. Winners and still TNA World Tag Team Champions: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez.

We go backstage and Jeremy Borash interviews A.J. Styles. Styles says he has not been the World Heavyweight Champion in almost three years, and that’s all the fuel he needs to win tonight.

Match #6: #1 Contender’s (TNA World Heavyweight Championship) Three-Way Match: A.J. Styles vs. Bobby Roode vs. James Storm (The guy who gets pinned or submits will not receive a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship until, at least, Bound for Glory 2013.)
Styles takes Roode down with an enzuiguri as soon as the bell rings and Styles and Storm battle it out in the ring. Storm runs the ropes and Styles goes for a dropkick, but Storm stops and Styles hits the mat. Roode pulls Storm to the floor and they brawl on the outside before Styles dives on both of them and takes them out. Styles tosses Roode back into the ring and connects with a back breaker. Styles slams Roode down and drops a knee. Storm gets back into the ring and goes after Styles. Storm goes to slingshot Styles into Roode, but Styles reverses and shoves Storm into the corner. Styles keeps control over both Storm and Roode, but Storm sends him to the outside and Styles slams into the guardrail. Roode and Storm battle it out in the ring and Storm takes Roode down. Storm kicks Roode in the back of the head, but Styles gets back into the ring and takes Storm down with a dropkick. Styles and Storm battle it out in the ring as Roode is on the outside. Styles stomps on Storm’s legs and locks in the Figure Four. Roode gets on the apron, but Styles sees him and knocks him back down to the floor. Styles hits Storm with a knee breaker and gets Storm in the Indian Deathlock submission hold. Styles lets go of the hold and Storm gets control. He slams Styles down to the mat for a two count. Roode gets back into the ring and chokes Styles in the corner. Roode takes Styles down with a suplex. Roode and Styles go to the outside and Roode slams Styles knee-first into the steel steps. Roode gets back into the ring and charges at Storm, but Storm reverses with a jaw breaker. Styles gets back into the ring and takes Storm down for a two count. Styles goes after Roode, but Roode rakes Styles’ eyes and then chokes Storm in the corner. Roode slams Styles into the corner, but Styles battle back and hits some right hands and a chop. Roode reverses a DDT attempt and tosses Styles across the ring. Storm and Roode come eye-to-eye and double suplex Styles. They tease doing the “Beer!…Money!” bit, but Storm takes Roode down with a side-Russian leg sweep. Styles charges both of them in the corner, but Storm tosses him onto Roode and Styles takes him down with a hurricanrana. Roode gets up and hits Storm with a neck breaker and gets a two count. Styles takes Roode down with the Pele Kick. Styles takes Storm down on the outside and tries to hit a 450 Splash on Roode, but Roode moves and spears Styles down for a two count. Roode locks in the crossface submission, but Styles reverses with a roll up. Roode takes Styles down with the Double R Spinebuster and goes for the suplex, but Storm hits Roode with the backstabber and hits Styles with the Last Call Superkick for the pin fall. Winner and the number one contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: James Storm.

We see a pre-recorded segment with Devon. He says his Turning Point was made when he was revealed to be the Sergeant at Arms of Aces & Eights. He says Aces & Eights showed him what it’s like to be part of a unit of men who will always have each others back and says Kurt Angle was a victim of circumstance. We transition into the video package hyping the next match.

Match #7: Devon vs. Kurt Angle
They brawl all over the ring to start the match before Devon takes control for himself. Angle comes back for a bit before Devon takes him down with a shoulder block. Devon takes Angle to the corner and chokes him over the top rope. Angle fights back and stomps away on Devon in the corner. Angle connects with a snap suplex and gets a two count. Angle tosses Devon into the corner and charges, but Devon moves and Angle goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Devon slams Angle’s head into the steps on the outside and then chokes him back inside the ring. Angle tries to fight back, but Devon keeps control and hits the flying back elbow for a two count. Devon gets Angle in headlock, but Angle fights out. Devon takes Angle to the corner and charges him, but Angle reverses with an elbow and a dropkick. Angle takes Devon down with a few clotheslines and tosses him into the corner. Angle hits a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Angle connects with a back drop and goes for the Angle Slam, but Devon reverses with a clothesline. Angle gets another belly-to-belly for a two count and gets Devon in the Ankle Lock. Devon counters out and slams Angle down to the mat. Angle comes back and hits three German Suplexes and gets a two count. Angle goes up top, but Devon stops him and takes control back. Devon goes up top and goes for the flying headbutt, but Angle moves and hits the Angle Slam for a two count. Aces & Eights surround the ring. Devon spears Angle for a two count. Angle gets Devon in the Ankle Lock and Devon taps.
Winner: Kurt Angle.

We see A.J. Styles walking backstage and someone asks him what he is going to do since he can’t have a title shot for a year. Styles just walks away without answering.

Jeremy Borash is interviewing Austin Aries. Aries says tonight, he and Hardy are going to write the final chapter in the Jeff Hardy Saga. He says it will end in tragedy. Aries says he is taking back the World Heavyweight Championship and says he doesn’t need the fans’ support or the backing of the powers of the company. He just needs to be himself. We see the video hype package for the main event match.

Match #8: TNA World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Austin Aries
Aries grabs Hardy and tosses him to the floor. Aries grabs a ladder, but Hardy stops him and Aries runs back into the ring. Aries hits some sort of leg drop on Hardy and they fight on the outside. Aries goes after the ladder again and gets it into the ring. Hardy uses the ladder against Aries and it drops back to the floor. Aries backs Hardy into the corner and charges, but Hardy takes him down with a hurricanrana. Aries circles the ring and Hardy takes him down on the outside. Hardy and Aries fight over the ladder, and Hardy dives onto Aries against the guardrail. Aries and Hardy continue to battle on the outside and Hardy gets on the apron. Hardy sets the ladder up in the ring and begins to climb, but Aries stops him and climbs himself. Both men go crashing down to the mat. The ladder is set up on the guardrail and the ring and Aries puts Hardy on it. Aries dumps Hardy from the ladder onto the steel steps. Aries sets up another ladder in the ring and begins to climb. Hardy gets back into the ring and pulls Aries down to the mat. Aries gets up, but Hardy kicks him to the outside. Hardy turns the ladder upside down and tries to slam Aries onto it, but Aries fights out and slams Hardy onto the ladder. Aries slingshots over the top rope and smashes Hardy inside the ladder. Aries tosses the ladder to the outside and kicks Hardy to the floor. Aries grabs another ladder from under the ring. Aries sets the ladder up in the corner and connects with a suicide dive on Hardy on the floor. Aries puts Hardy in the ladder and smashes Hardy against the ring and ladder with the steel steps. Aries sets a ladder up in the ring and begins to climb. Aries gets down and realizes Hardy escaped. Hardy and Aries fight atop the ladder and Aries knocks Hardy down to the mat. Aries gets off the ladder, as it was about to break, and pummels Hardy against it. Aries connects with the dropkick and goes for the Brain Buster, but Hardy escapes and sends Aries into the ladder with a Japanese arm drag. Hardy grabs the ladder as Aries is down. Hardy falls with the ladder and splashes onto Aries. Aries falls to the outside and Hardy sets the ladder up on the top rope. Hardy gets another ladder from under the ring and Aries dropkicks the ladder out from underneath Hardy. Aries backs Hardy into the ladder and smashes him with it in the corner. Aries dropkicks the ladder into Hardy. Aries hits the brain buster and tosses Hardy out of the ring. Aries sets up the ladder and climbs up as Hardy gets back into the ring. They are both atop the ladder again, and Hardy slams Aries’ head into the ladder. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate off of the ladder. Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb and Aries rolls to the outside. Hardy sets up the ladder and climbs. As he reaches for the titles, the titles raise higher and we see Aries using the controls to raise them higher. Aries grabs a bigger ladder from under the ring and sets it up. Aries gets up and they fight on top of the bigger ladder, and it topples and they crash onto a smaller ladder. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate again and Aries goes to the outside. Hardy climbs the ladder and grabs both of the titles. Winner and still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy.
