Good. Now maybe we can get some decent WWE programming.

  2. AJ Starr says:

I better see some middle fingers Monday night. Get over it, Linda, you couldn’t buy your way in, and you’re gonna lose your whole financial life if you and Vince don’t smarten up!

  3. Ryan T says:

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

  4. Con Cara says:

I wish the ignorant people shut up around her race being the reason for bad WWE programming. News flash, if WWE had blood and cursing, it’d still be the same crap. The problem is the writing, the booking, the misuse of wrestlers, not the little number in the corner of your screen.

  5. Dragon says:

amen Eric couldnt have said it better myself

  6. wingnut says:

Just because she isn’t going to run for office in 2014, doesn’t mean she isn’t go to make Vince run.

  7. Fisha695 says:

Mattel is the reason the WWE is PG not Linda.

  8. BubbRubb4Real says:

Not like this is going to make a difference with the PG product. Vince is still making a crap to of money off the little kids and their parents. With no real competition where is the motivation for change? As long as he is making money the ratings are almost meaningless.

  9. jim says:

Con cara… I known 100 percent that the race is a large reason. For it… combined with your points.

  10. heehee says:

    Finally!

@Con Cara, we are not all ignorant people who think that PG is the sole reason for WWE’s poor quality. But you’d have to be a fool if you think it didn’t made a difference. Stopping matches because someone is bleeding, for instance. That didn’t happened in the PG pre-Attitude era. That sort of thing occurred because of Linda McMahon’s political ambitions.

  11. rebel says:

@Con Cara. Thank you. Just saved me some typing.

  12. Karl Robinson says:

The problem for WWE programming is changing Raw to 3 hours, its a killer even if diehards do still tune in

  13. -J- says:

I’ll be glad to not read any more about her f’n campaign already.

  14. FoamyPizza says:

Mattel is not even a reason.

They sold Benoit, Angle, Stone Cold, The Rock toys when it was nearly TV-MA.

  15. Deadspace says:

Anyone who thinks this changes anything regarding WWE programming is being really naive. “OMGZ I need to see swearing and blood!1!” – Grow up. The PG thing is more to do with the Mattel deal and the way the TV landscape has changed over the years. I’m glad she lost simply because I don’t like the idea of stupidly rich people being able to buy their way into senate.

  16. Captain Ass says:

I have been a WWE man for over 30 years and I freely admit that 3 hours is too long of a show. You really have to have an interesting, action packed show to keep people’s interest peaked for that long. Sadly, they don’t have what it takes right now. The downfall and eventual death of WCW was the point where wrestling just wasn’t cool to a lot of folks anymore.

  17. JD Storm says:

good. the McMahons need to focus their energy at making WWE entertaining again. WWE is the only thing they’re good at. they need to realize this.

  18. TL says:

Finally tapping out! Leg’s already broken but still, she tapped!
