Wrestling By The Numbers: Elizabeth ‘Beth Phoenix’ Carolan‏

World Wrestling Entertainment has parted ways with veteran diva Elizabeth ‘Beth Phoenix’ Carolan. The 31-year-old Elmira New York native was both a 3-Time WWE Women’s Champion, a 1-Time WWE Divas Champion, and was widely regarded as one of the best in-ring female competitors in the WWE during her 8-year run with the organization. Carolan was signed in October of 2005 and after spending 7-months at Ohio Valley Wrestling she debuted on WWE television in May of 2006. The Glamazon had numerous memorable moments during her WWE run including feuds with the likes of Mickie James, Candice Michelle, LayCool and Santino Marella. Beth Phoenix became the first woman to ever wrestle in a WWE pay-per-view main event competing in the Royal Rumble Match back in 2010. She is one of only 3-females to have competed in the historic yearly tradition, the others include Chyna and Kharma.
