Report: U.S. Marine Corps. opposing WWE trademark

PWInsider.com is reporting that the U.S. Marine Corps. are currently opposing WWE’s use of the “Marine: Homefront” trademark. The trademark is for the new WWE Studios film starring WWE star Mike “The Miz” Mizanin. The U.S. Marine Corps. asked for a 90-day extension on 9/4 to file an opposition that was later granted. They have been given until 12/12 to file or request another extension.

WWE needs to calm the hell down with Trademarks. Let others make money off it sometimes. Let TNA borrow some WCW videos. SOMETHING lol XD stop being greedy!
Am I missing something obvious here? Why does the Marine Corps. care about a movie title? Were they going to make a film called “Marine: Homefront,” (conveniently starring The Miz) too?

Did they oppose the Trademarking of the first two movie titles in the trilogy? Does anybody know the reason listed as why they are opposing it as that is the important part of the story.
