Independent female wrestler Courtney Rush made the following statement via Facebook:

To anyone who has been finding it difficult to work with/get hold of me lately: my apologies. If you aren’t close enough to me to know, I battle depression each and every day. The maintenance of a forward-thinking, positive lifestyle is imperative to overcoming its effects, but the past few weeks have been exceptionally difficult. I am forever lucky and grateful for the strong people in my life: my parents, my brother and my amazing boyfriend who all help me find the strength I need.

That being said, I’ve been neglecting some duties and will be getting back on top of everything I need to get finished! Thanks for your understanding!

That really sucks. I know how depression is, so I hope she finds a way to get past it and know how to take control of it.
