The two opponents being considered for Undertaker at Wrestlemania

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is tinkering with the idea of The Undertaker facing John Cena at Wrestlemania 29 in April, with CM Punk facing The Rock. In another scenario being considered, The Undertaker defends his Mania streak against CM Punk, setting up John Cena vs. The Rock, Once in a Lifetime II.

All I know is that they still have to save the biggest matches for WM30. Brock is going to play a role in this years card but none of us are sure about next year. Same with Rock. So it’s going to depend upon what kind of deals they can work out with them.
@Fisha…could be but I’m betting not. By the time WM rolls around Austin will have damn near 9 months on his repaired knees. That is also more than enough time for someone like Austin to get into ring shape seeing as he’s not in bad shape now at all. He and Punk have both voiced great interest in that match. Besides that, if it doesn’t happen this year, it won’t happen. Austin is getting up there. We shall see what happens.
And even though Taker has done plenty to put young guys over, the streak will never be on the table. He’s taking that into retirement as his gimme for all he’s done, and deservedly so. If he can physically do it, I see 30-0 then retirement for the dead man.

imo it would be prefect for punk to face taker so then he can finally get the “respect” he wants
