Puroresu Spirit has announced the following today…

It has been announced that Kevin Nash will be coming in to compete for All Japan on September 23.

As noted earlier, The Great Muta had wanted to bring in Ric Flair for the match, but the sides couldn’t come to financial terms.

Amazing how a no talent like Nash gets booking

Nash suffers from Hogan Syndrome: a professional wrestler who is physically imposing but displays little to no in ring ability what so ever.

@ Steven – You may think he’s a no talent but you don’t make all of that $ without being talented. He may not be Kurt Angle in the ring but he was a top tier performer for years and is still in awesome shape for being over 50 years old. Gotta give the guy his due.

@Mike Awesome, I’ll be realistic here and agree with you. He is a legacy wrestler meaning he basically has a lifetime membership to professional wrestling. For example, look at a lot of the wrestlers that are over 50 and are still around strictly due to their brand name. Examples of this club: Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Taker, Jerry The King Lawler and this list goes on. Unfortunately, Vinnie Vegas is one of those guys. Somebody could write a book about this.

@Steven – I bet your the guy that thinks ROH is the best promotion ever to LMAO!

We have to remember that the word “talent” applies to far too many things in Wrestling.

At the end of it, he had talent in the sense of persona…..not every star can be a Jerry Lynn flyer, or a Benoit strategist, some are JUST characters, and they will always have their plcace.

You couldn’t have said it any better, very well stated. Powerslave and seven son of a seventh son are the two maiden albums I own.
