Join the Starman as he covers Impact Wrestling as it happens live.

Impact Wrestling opens with a video recap of the AJ Styles/Claire Lynch drama. The Aces & Eights assaults and James Storm going untouched from the attacks is also touched upon. The pyro goes off and we are welcomed to this week’s show as the announcers hype the show before we hear Bully Ray’s music.

Bully Ray comes out and composes a tweet as he makes his way to the ring. Ray then demands a microphone and puts over his “Twittah Machine,” before turning his attention to James Storm. Ray says he learned something from Joseph Park and says the evidence is stacking up against Storm for being behind Aces & Eights. Ray says he has all of the facts against Storm but is cut off by the Cowboy’s music.

James Storm comes out to the ring and says he didn’t hear one fact come out of Ray’s mouth. Storm says he is sick and tired of having people accuse him and says he doesn’t have anything to do with the attacks. Storm says he is more worried about winning the BFG Series to win his TNA World Championship back. Storm wants to take care of business and challenges Ray to a fist fight but Ray backs up and leaves the ring. Storm tells Ray to tell all of the guys in the back about the challenge.

Aces & Eights appear on the video screen and say through a voice scrambler that Sting has a lot of balls and invited them to the show tonight. They say they will be seen from a lot but it will be on their own time and on their own terms as we head into a commercial break.

The Pope is backstage and says the BFG Series hasn’t gone as he liked, but come this Sunday, he will get the 20 points to get right back into things. We then see the BFG Leaderboard as we see James Storm is at top with 66. Mr. Anderson has joined the announce team and will be scouting during this Bound for Glory Series Match.

Match 1: Rob Van Dam vs. Magnus (Bound for Glory Series Match)
The match starts and Magnus dumps RVD to the floor with a clothesline. Magnus continues on the attack on the floor before rolling him back into the ring for a pin attempt. Magnus picks up another near fall after slamming RVD to the mat, however, RVD is able to mount a comeback and takes Magnus down with a springboard kick. RVD picks up a near fall with a scissors takedown and then levels Magnus with a kick to the face. RVD does a little too much showboating and Magnus knocks him down with a hard clothesline for another near fall. RVD the counters Magnus’ offense and hits the Five Star Frog Splash to pick up the pin fall and earn seven more points in the BFG Series.

Bobby Roode is backstage and talks about tonight’s contract signing for Hardcore Justice but both he and his lawyers aren’t happy about it. Roode says his lawyers might not even allow for it to happen as we head into a commercial break.

A video recap of the baby shower Christopher Daniels and Kazarian threw for Claire Lynch is aired. This brings us into the next match, which is for the TNA Tag Team Championship.

Match 2: Garett Bischoff & Devon vs. Christopher Daniels & Kazarian (TNA Tag Team Championship)
The bell rings as Devon quickly takes Kazarian down before tagging Garett into the match. Devon and Garett hit Kazarian with a double team move and goes for a quick pin but Kazarian kicks out. Devon picks up a pin attempt after hitting a leg drop before tagging Garett into the match. Kazarian causes a distraction and Daniels is able to take Garett down before tagging Kazarian into the match. Kazarian and Daniels cut off the ring and use quick tags to wear Garett down and pick up a couple of near falls. Garett manages to roll over to his corner and makes the hot tag to Devon, who comes in and takes down both of the Tag Team Champions. Devon tosses Daniels out to the floor and takes Kazarian down with a spear. The match breaks down for a second as Daniels tries to come in with a belt but he is stopped by the referee. Kazarian is able to get the belt and clocks Devon with it while the referee has his hands full and picks up the pin fall to retain the TNA Tag Team Championship.

A recap of Sting’s meeting with Brooke Hogan from last week is aired. Sting is backstage and says Brooke isn’t around before calling out Aces & Eights once again as we head into a commercial break.

A video package highlighting the Bound for Glory Series is aired. The participants give their thoughts on competing in the series and all 12 will have a shot at earning 20 points in a series of four way specialty matches this Sunday at Hardcore Justice.

Robbie E. is standing in the ring with Robbie T. and a table. Robbie says nobody thinks he has a chance at winning but he has five points and he will have 20 more points after Sunday. He says the man he will be putting through the table will be the same person he won five points off of as we see video from three weeks ago where Jeff Hardy lost to Robbie E. by count out. Robbie E. begins to talks about the five reasons he is better than Hardy but is cut off after the second one by Hardy’s music.

Hardy comes out as Robbie E. continues to taunt him. Hardy runs into the ring and takes out Robbie T. before turning his attention to Robbie E. Robbie begins to beg in the corner but Hardy slaps Robbie in the face. Robbie T. then enters the ring and takes Hardy down from behind before sending Hardy through the table with a powerbomb. Robbie E. then gets in Hardy’s face and yells that he will be getting 20 points on Sunday.

The cameraman catches up with AJ Styles and wants comments on the Claire Lynch situation. Styles wants to know how terrible someone is at sex if you can’t even remember it and states that he doesn’t even drink. Styles then says he needs to get ready for his match as he walks away and we head into a commercial break.

We join the announce team as they hype Hardcore Justice for a moment as they are joined by Samoa Joe. Joe says he is the only one relevant but doesn’t get any time to speak. Joe says Kurt Angle and AJ Styles are meeting in the ring tonight but he will be beating both of them for 20 points this Sunday in a ladder match. We then head into that match.

Match 3: AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle (Bound for Glory Series Match)
Claire Lynch is sitting ringside for this match and yells at Styles as he makes his way to the ring but Styles doesn’t acknowledge her. The match starts and Styles nails Angle with a dropkick as Angle rolls out to the floor. Styles then dives over the top rope and takes Angle out as Claire gives Styles some encouragement and we head into a commercial break. We return to the match to see Angle take Styles down with an overhead suplex. Angle puts Styles in a headlock and follows with a backbreaker for a near fall. Claire joins in with a “Let’s go AJ!” chant as Styles fights back and both take each other down with a double clothesline. Styles gets up first and takes Angle down with a series of strikes and picks up a near fall after hitting a backbreaker.

Styles then misses with a springboard forearm as Angle hits Styles with a series of German suplexes. Angle then tries for an Angle Slam but Styles counters and knocks Angle down with a Pele kick for a close near fall. Styles then goes for a Styles Clash but Angle counters and takes Styles down with an Angle Slam for another close near fall. Angle drops the straps and puts Styles in an ankle lock but Styles kicks him off and takes Angle down with a German suplex. Styles tries for another one but Angle counters and puts Styles in another ankle lock but Styles rolls through and sends Angle into the turnbuckle. Styles then hits Angle with a flying forearm and follows with the Styles Clash for yet another close near fall.

Styles can’t believe Angle kicked out and heads to the top rope but Angle runs up and takes Styles down with a belly-to-belly suplex but Styles kicks out before the count of three. The two are slow to get back to their feet as Angle gets up and heads to the top rope but misses with a moonsault as Styles rolls out of the way. Styles then tries for a 450 splash but Angle gets his knees up to counter the move. Angle then hits Styles with another Angle Slam and finally puts Styles away to pick up seven points with a pin fall. After the match, Claire Lynch tells Styles he did a good job but Styles just walks away as Claire looks on with a confused look on her face.

Another video from Aces & Eights is aired and talks about handing out the Dead Man’s Hand to people and another person will be getting one tonight. Mr. Anderson is seen with James Storm and talks about the connections he has with James Storm. Storm says it isn’t him as Anderson says if he is the next victim, the two of them will be having another chat but it will be a little different as we head into a commercial break.

Austin Aries is backstage on the phone and is talking about the contract signing tonight. The cameraman asks about the contract and he says it’s just some wording and he promises to take care of things so the match happens this Sunday as planned.

Match 4: Gail Kim vs. Miss Tessmacher
The match starts outside the ring for a bit before heading inside where Gail hangs up Tessmacher on the ropes. Gail continues on the attack and picks up a near fall after hitting a gutbuster. Tessmacher begins to fight back but Gail stalls her momentum by locking her in a body scissors. Gail then drops Tessmacher with another gutbuster but Tessmacher fights back and hits a couple of clotheslines and a dropkick on Gail. Tessmacher then hits Gail with a sloppy facebuster to pick up the pin fall. Madison Rayne’s music interrupts Tessmacher’s post-match celebration as she comes out to the ring. She then grabs Earl Hebner and plants a kiss on his lips. Madison then drops Hebner and leaves the ring with a smile on her face.

Joseph Park is backstage and talks about the contract signing between Austin Aries and Bobby Roode. Park talks about this being the thing that he warned Sting about last week but walks off as he sees a potential client walking by. Speaking of the contract signing, Aries and Roode will meet in the ring next to go over their Hardcore Justice contract after the commercial break.

A recap of last week’s tag team match that opened the show is aired. We then see a video package on Kenny King where he talks about taking a risk to come to TNA and wanting to get to the top of the X Division and being the X Division Champion.

Sting’s music hits as he comes to the ring where a table has been set up for the contract signing. Sting sends a message to Aces & Eights to come out before turning his attention to the contract signing. Sting invites Bobby Roode and Austin Aries to come down to the ring to get things started. Roode and Aries make their separate entrances and take a seat at the table in the ring. Roode doesn’t sit for long, though, and says he has a problem with the contract. Roode says it states that if he loses on Sunday he will not get another chance for the championship as long as Aries is the champion.

Roode says he won’t sign the contract and says the contract was drawn up that way as Sting has always had a problem with him being the TNA World Champion. Roode says Sting has tried to one-up him but Roode is going to one-up Sting by saying he won’t have a main event if it isn’t changed. Aries steps in and tells Roode to stop his whining. Aries goes on to say that for a person who is so sure of himself winning the match on Sunday, Roode is throwing a temper tantrum over a rematch clause. Aries says the two of them does need a contract and proposes to have a verbal agreement in front of Sting and the fans. Aries says if Roode loses, he won’t get a rematch, however, if Roode wins, Austin will waive his rematch clause and not challenge Roode. Sting wants to know if they have a deal as the two shake hands with Sting and the match for Hardcore Justice is set. With the match made, the trash talking starts until Roode and Aries shake hands to seal the deal. Roode then throws water in Aries’ face and quickly leaves the ring as Aries knocks over the table and has to be held back by Sting.

We see James Storm and Bully Ray walking in the backstage area as the two will meet in a BFG Series match in tonight’s main event, and that match is up next.

The match finally gets going as Ray and Storm go back and forth in the opening moments until Ray levels Storm with a big boot to the face. Ray then tosses Storm out to the floor as we head into a commercial break. We return to the match to see Ray continue to work Storm over and locks him in a submission leg lock. Storm is able to counter the move but Ray is close enough to the ropes to break the hold.

Ray quickly takes Storm down once again and continues to work him over with a series of strikes but misses with a splash as Storm rolls out of the way. Storm finally fights his way back into the match and takes Ray down with a neckbreaker and a back body drop. Storm then connects with a kick but Ray fights back with a desperation slam to pick up a near fall. Ray then goes for a Bully Bomb but Storm fights his way out and hits a top rope cross body block for a near fall. Storm again heads to the top rope but Ray knocks him down but Storm blocks an attempt at a superplex and sends Ray down to the canvas. Storm then misses with a top rope elbow drop as Ray gets up and takes Storm down with a Bully Bomb but Storm kicks out.

Ray then heads to the middle rope and misses with a back splash as Storm comes back and connects with a jawbreaker. The crowd gets behind storm as he sets up for a Last Call Superkick but Ray ducks out of the way and pulls Earl Hebner in front of him for a shield. Storm is able to stop his kick and rolls up Ray for a pin attempt but Ray kicks out and suddenly drops Storm with a Bully Cutter for the pin fall and earns seven points in the BFG Series. Ray then quickly grabs his chain and looks around for Aces & Eights and begins to yell at Storm to send out the group.

Aces & Eights appear on the screen and tell Bully Ray that they were busy tonight but he will see a whole lot of them on Sunday at Hardcore Justice.
