Viacom channels no longer on DirecTV

The 26 Viacom channels including Spike TV (Impact Wrestling) and CMT (Steve Austin’s reality show) have been removed from DirecTV as of midnight Eastern time. The channels now feature a pre-recorded message from the DirecTV CEO claiming that Viacom has removed their channels from DirecTV.

    People talk alot of mess about Comcast. Hell once at best buy I had In-house DTV agents laugh at me for how wack Comcast was. Who’s laughing now?!?

    I expect Viacom shows to take a hit in the Nilsen ratings since the channels will still on other providers in the US.
