Wrestling By The Numbers: Karlee ‘Maxine’ Perez

World Wrestling Entertainment has parted ways with performer Karlee ‘Maxine’ Perez. The 26-year-old Grand Rapids Michigan native had been with the company for the past 3-years competing mostly on WWE N.X.T. and down in the WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling. Perez was signed by the WWE in 2009 with no previous wrestling experience, she was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling where she was trained and later became the company’s General Manager. While in FCW she also competed under the names Candy Girl and Liviana.

Karlee Perez debuted on WWE television under the name Maxine on Season 3 of WWE N.X.T.. Her coach was Alicia Fox and Maxine ended up being the second diva eliminated from that season’s competition. She also competed on last season of WWE N.X.T. Redemption where she returned as the girlfriend of Derrick Bateman. Karlee Perez announced on June 29th via Twitter that she had asked for and was granted her release from the WWE. It has been reported she was unhappy with her lack of a push, not being offered a guaranteed contract and other frustrations with management.
